Evening all! Sorry I haven't been around for a few days - work has gone bonkers again - exam results time and that means 16 hour days for me:eek: Its all finished now though - just the review reports on the exams for the head to write - they can wait until the weekend.
Not a lot of fabbing outside the usual has been going on this week - just haven't had the time. But, I've just had a long soak in the bath, filed my nails and had a proper tea so feel a bit more human again now:)
I'll just pop through and read all of your news properly - hope everyone is ok?
Friday tomorrow - hurrah:j0 -
Hi all
Finally gettig a chance to pop on her to update.
LL sounds like you have been hard at work moving but I am sure you will soon be settled in your new home.
Welshwoofer - 16 hour days - wow you must be shattered. Hope you get a chance to rest now.
Fedupandskint Well done on losing your kg.
Podperson Great recommendation re the wipes by the bed. I have a couple of packets so could do that - although it remains to be seen if an inquisitive 18 month old boy will leave them there lol
His Missus Hello. I used to be on here ages ago and everyone is really friendly. Hope you enjoy this thread.
Hello to everyone else. Some great fabbing going on.
I have managed to complete 4 evenings of cleansing, toning and moisturing and 4 days of being within my calories of MFP so good start for me. Now off for an early night as a bit shattered tonight between dieting, fly lading and fabbing I am all done in lol.0 -

Hello :j
Lost 2.5 lbs this week. Not a great amount but a chunk chipped off!!
Today was out and treated myself to lunch in a cafe. I really enjoyed it especially in this icy weather.
Still decluttering. It's amazing how much stuff I keep finding.
Personal fabbing is just about ticking along. I'm running out of perfume!
Still doing daily walks :jDeclutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage
:cool2: Cherryprint: "More stuff = more stuff to tidy up!" Less things. Less stuff. More life.Fab thread: Long daily walks

I noticed in ALDI they had some fragrances on offer. Usually £3-99 now £2-99 I think.
Sorry can't remember the names but one of them was a bit of a pun on CK1 - my current favourite. I sprayed it on to see what it was like. It smelt very much like CK1 too and unlike a lot of copies it didn't appear to have that heavy cloying "synthetic" smell IFYSWIM.
I usually have to allow an hour or so to see whether or not I really like a fragrance because some do give me a headache. This one didn't so I might well make a little investment. Even the full price is a lot cheaper than actual CK1.
I did a huge shop at ALDI because I had been deliberately running my food stocks down prior to the move. Came to just £53 - I reckon the equivalent in Sainsbury's would be a lot dearer.
I even got a looki-likie "Toblerone" for less than £1.
After the expenses incurred what with the move and Christmas etc I'm now on a major economy drive so I shall be looking at discount shopping wherever possible. Judging by how crowded it was in ALDI's I'm not the only one.
Well done on the weight losses ladies. I feel shamed:o
WW Phew!!! :rotfl:

Good morning
No snow yet but blimmin cold.
Not sure how the day is going to pan out yet - I ought to go shopping for some bits before the snow hits but
"baby it's cold outside"
DS2 off now for 3 days so I think it's "Operation Unpack Boxes and Sort Out the Chaos". DS1 coming round at some point over the weekend so with three of us on the case we should be able to crack on.
My mission is to clear as much as possible this weekend, and at least get the downstairs ship shape. My bedroom is pretty good although I'm going to re-organise at my leisure, same with kitchen. So if I can clear the decks over the next couple of days then I can get down to some much needed personal fabbing next week. Hopefully book a hair appt and maybe squeeze in a physio session.
My black eye is more or less ok now, and the lesions that were blasted with nitrogen are healing nicely. A bit red but I think I can start wearing make up again now.
In general though my skin feels like an old crocodiles, especially my legs which are really dry and itchy. Back to the Oilatum I'm afraid. However it's £9 a pop.
Once the skin my legs has calmed down then I really must find time to make some home made oils and potions. Also going to have a crack at soaps and bath bombs etc Hopefully cheaper and of course no nasties and I can then avoid further flare ups..
Overall my skin is prone to being what I call "pre-excema" and sometimes my scalp can be itchy. Any suggestions for a nice gentle no nasties shampoo.
I'm thinking that SLS (Sodium Laurel Sulphate) may be the cause of my problems and I'm going to try and avoid it and see what happens. Any tips ladies??
Anyway time to get cracking, there's a mountain of washing to be done and those boxes await....
Don't forget Fab Friday. However, given the freezing weather conditions I will allow you some leeway, although if you can, think "Dr Zhivago" and go for full out knock 'em dead glamour". Get those (fake) fur hats out.
My sister has a Russian friend who, even when hanging round the school gates in bitterly cold weather, can do the whole Russian Ice Queen look so well. She always looks wonderful:mad:
Not an easy look to pull off. It can easily end up looking less "Lara's Theme" and more "Babooshka" :rotfl:
