    morning all.
Despite it being FREEZING today I'm actually finding the walk into work really enjoyable; clears my head and gives me some 'me' time to think about things or enjoy listening to some music or something. Plus the exercise is good for me, I insist on walking briskly to make it count :)

Also painted my nails last night for the first time in a few weeks, though I've made sure to have them filed and so on if necessary. Makes a big difference to how 'put together' I feel actually.

    Morning all,

weesmiler - well done on back to the gym, I must get started back on some exercise, have just felt exhausted this week with the poor sleeping so hopefully can do a fresh start at weekend! Congrats on the bargain wedding dress - are you dropping hints now about him getting on with 'popping the question' :rotfl:I do wedding photography and one of my brides was telling me that she got her dress for £1  was in a raffle and she had the winning ticket! It was gorgeous as well, vintage style and really suited her. Am sure you will look lovely in yours x

LL - yup gotta love my in-laws :rotfl:I'm sure they sometimes do it just to wind me up! Enjoy your fabbing. I've been trying to get on top of the tidying this week, think am going to have a blitz at weekend when I'm hopefully feeling a little more 'with it' and then can move on to the decluttering. I'm on a mission with the house this year - it will be tidy and organised! (eventually :o)

Lizzie - that sounds like good news on the business - what were on you looking into in the end, the dog-walking or decorating. Or actually both even, diversifying seems to be the way to go these days, am always looking into new bits to try (just need more hours in the day! :rotfl:) I need to try and up things with mine, it looks like tax credits will probably be getting cut for us (thanks Cameron!!) and with OH leaving uni this year no longer getting anything from there we need to be finding more money from somewhere.

bratz - you're braver then me walking into work - it is freezing here this morning as well! Was sat shivering on the bus :rotfl:

Anyway, managed a few hours sleep last night so feeling a bit better today. My netbook came yesterday - it's so tiny :rotfl:I do really like it but will take a bit of getting used to I think, especially the teeny keyboard. Even OH said I'd got a bargain though.
When I'd de-stressed from the in-laws drama yesterday realised that I need to find something to wear to the wedding now. Not sure I have anything 'suitable' that will currently fit me. :o Will try and have a wardrobe sort through at weekend.

    Hello all!

    Small steps

    • use a face wipe each night before bed and moisturise. oops! too tired last night :o

    • cut my nails short and apply clear varnish cut my nails but couldn't find my clear varnish:D
    • make a hairdressing appt for next Sat to tie in with a visit to my parents. £3 for a dry cut - bargain! must remember to do at lunchtime
    • we've got 2 sessions of badminton booked for the weekend but need to motivate us both to get back into swimming 2 mornings a week too.

Welcome His Missus - does this mean I can't do my Frankie Howerd "Ooh-er Missus" impersonations any more. :rotfl::rotfl:
    :rotfl:

Not at all Ooh-er missus all you like:D. My username comes from when I started working for the same company as my Hubby, for the first few months I was always introduced as "You've met xxx already, well this is his missus" or as "this is xxx's missus" :rotfl:

I used to keep a pack of face wipes on my bedside table. Then even if I was too tired/couldn't be bothered to do a proper night-time routine then I would see them when I went to bed and do a quick 30 second wipe over just to get any make up etc off at least. Sounds like you're off to a good start though :)

Good afternoon, well this afternoon is one of study for me shortly but I had to pop on to announce I have lost a kg this week after putting on 2kg from the weigh in last week.

Glad I'm back on track and only one more to go to get back to target weight again.

Not much other fabbing going on as I have a bit of a cold going on making me feel very snotty but not too bad and I'm dosed up on plenty of vitamins and tonics and the rest!

Usual fabbing taking place with skin and hair and make up and its Fab Friday tomorrow everyone which is wearing something long forgotten from your wardrobe instead of buying something new - mine tomorrow is my jumper dress I wore a lot last year and once this year so I've moved it into workwear to wear it more as its a bit big from last year.

Tried fitting in extra exercise mon, been busy since then :o not even walking Luna as she was speyed yesterday so she's sulking because she's only had a very short walk.

Will go away and regroup. Not sure why I am feeling a bit out of control but there you go :o

    :o

Maybe the colder weather is bringing on a need for comfort food. This time of year when it's cold and dark I just crave stodge for warmth or for a pick-me-up. Perhaps you're wearing yourself out if you've been busy and your body is trying to gain energy from food. If you're used to exercising/walking the dog and you're not finding the time to do it this week, that won't help your feelings of tubbiness.

I'm sure though you look lovely to the rest of the world x
  • ello all :) enough room for another in here? im feeling really bleh and need a kick up the @rse. i look like a scarecrow and feel like a bucket of jelly like lard. :)

    Evening All :D

I have been keeping up the skin care, smart clothing and perfume with sporadic makeup use ;)

The healthy eating and exercise and still sadly lacking :o however I have asked my OH to clear away all the xmas sweeties so that I won't have temptation within easy reach.
