Well done on that weight loss Wahini :j

:)Good point about workwear prep WW. I've washed my work outfits for the week, they're hanging to dry now. Whatever the weather that's what I'm wearing. Think I'm going to try having a bath at night too to save another thing in the morning.

:(Yesterday wasn't a nice day. I think the cat knows I'm a bit low. They won't leave me alone!

I have strong urges when I'm low. To shop and to eat :o And because I'm trying to do SW that's not good. I'm having urges to go craft shopping when realistically I don't have any room and I haven't sorted/tidied/decluttered the spare room aka the Hobby Room to even use what I have.

:)So I've been listening to Hay House radio (using an app) and doing some bad knitting. But cat wanted to play with the wool so despite a number of taps and nos, the cat has returned.

I do need some more flattering work tops so I may venture into town just to focus on that (and its miles away from the craft place). I need to knock this mindless shopping on the head. I buy lots of things for the home. Probably about time that I spent a bit more on me again :) I have lots of makeup and skincare etc but clothes wise things could do with a couple of capsule/classic pieces in the spirit of Gok. I'm planning to lose weight but I do need to feel good about myself too :)

    Sorry for rambling :o

I tried the woofer on glucosamine once and it gave him a really runny bum:eek::eek:
Will ask the vet next time I go whether there's a lower dose he an give him - the vet gave him the original stuff, perhaps he can reduce the quantity?
    Poor doggy :A

Definitely check in with the vet about it. I'm sure some vitamin companies sell tabs just for dogs.

The good thing is you've supressed my appetite for Nutella!!:T

I have on numerous occasions - he refuses to go. Joint tenancy so I've been told I can't force him. As I've said before house is near to my family (elderly parents, children, etc) it would cause me problems if I left in many ways so can't really see a way forward on that one atm.

Oh Lordy that is tricky. Is it a housing association or private landlord. Are there penalties if either of you extricate yourselves from the lease. There must be a way. Perhaps a solicitor or the Citizens Advice can help you.

Maybe I am being extremely naive here but what I can't get my head round is why he is being so obstructive when it is so clearly over. Why is he punishing his children like this by continually putting their interests second to his. Obviously he doesn't give a fig for you so your well being doesn't count but why doesn't he give in gracefully and do what's right for the children.

Why won't he go. Why would you stay with someone who no longer loves you and doesn't want you there and the relationship is as dead as a dodo. He must have the hide of a rhino. :o

I really do feel for you, but please remember every problem has a solution - it's just that sometimes it's not always in plain sight and you have to go hunting to find it.

Keep the faith. Get some professional advice. Don't give up.

yes having something to aim for will spur me on to add to the start I've already made.:) on this at least I can make a positive change.

Lizzie - change the way you look and pretty soon you will change the way you think, feel and act.

I cannot deny that the past few years have been harrowing but somehow just taking a bit better care of my appearance gave me the impetus and the will to improve my life, my situation, my health and my well being.

Start to really take good care of yourself, get fabbing and to hell with him. Tell him you are having no more of his nonsense and his selfish, childish behaviour.

Tell him he will go to the wedding, he will behave himself, he will give an Oscar Winning performance of a man having a good time.

Depression or no depression, mental health issues or no mental issues tell him it's time to MAN UP, to stop behaving like a spoilt brat and to start facing his responsibilities. He is a father, for Chrissake - time he started acting like one....

You are the mother Lizzie - it's time to find your inner Lioness and start fighting for your cubs.

I know my straight talking sounds brutal but trust me you do not want to lose contact with your children over this. You will bitterly regret it.

Anyway - Good luck all you "back to workers" tomorrow and well done on the wardrobe planning.

I've unpacked a few more boxes, going to have dinner and a rest and then a few more this evening.

I've got a full on day tomorrow. I've got to leave the house at 7-00 am so I shall get everything ready tonight in readiness.

OH was rather quiet today ......He's still such a sweet-heart, his face lit up when he saw me.

Lizzie - don't put up with any more crap from your H. Go find yourself a new man - one like my husband, a kind gentle considerate man who will love, cherish and adore you.

He's out there somewhere - just waiting for you. ;)
  • Hello lovelies.

EH - Happy Birthday my lovely. Definitely pour yourself a vino.:rotfl:
  • I've come to join you in here because I'm feeling so miserable at the moment about my weight. To look at with clothes on I'm not fat but naked I can see my tummy sticks out and I have 'padded arms' as my dad calls them :(.

As you can see from my SIG I have a goal i'd like to achieve. I've cut back on the chocs but have decided to have one or two after a run as a treat.

I went running yesterday and did around 4 miles maybe. Today I only planned on doing 5km, got lost and ended up running 10km. I can run long distances, in November I ran a half marathon and a 10km so I suppose I am reasonably fit but I'd also like to weigh less at my 5"5 ish height as it's saying my BMI is overweight.

I'd like to lose weight all over and be able to fit into my size 10 dresses again. I have a feeling I may have some muscle from running but there is also fat because I can see those yucky muffin tops when I wear jeans :(

Hopefully I can keep updates in here. Weigh ins will be Sunday mornings!

It's a council property - I found out a few years ago that even though I have children he can't be made to leave without legal proceedings. The daft thing is he would be1)unable to afford the rent and 2) chances are they wouldn't let him stay as he would be underoccupied. I may not be able to stay either as DS3 won't be classed as dependent when he starts his apprenticeship. I've had my name down for another property for a few years but as it's now a points sytem I never get anywhere as I'm classed as adequately housed no matter what my personal circumstances. It just seems such a mess! Have a banging head now after a big row in which he has had both barrels but the bottom line is he cares more about himself than anyone else. I am going to contact women's aid and see how the land lies but can't say I'm hopeful. And have been told no one would want me either as I'm such a barrel of laughs I'd depress anyone!' Anyway bet everyone's sick of me - I certainly am so am going to stop posting about it and try and get my head together, and try and make 2013 the year for making some changes.

Lizzie NO ONE is sick of you. Carry on posting if it helps. As for no one wanting you.....bull**it. HE makes you this way. Imagine life without him, bet you'd feel 10 times better. There must be a way for you to move out. Do any family have a room you could rent? As for him not going to the wedding......sounds like a blessing in disguise if he doesn't go actually. I reckon you'd all have a better time without him.

EH Happy birthday hope you've had a lovely day xxx

Southern man welcome to the thread :)

Foster dog sorry your PCOS is causing problems xx

LL sounds like you've settled in pretty well :)

Apologies if I've missed anyone :o or anything important :o

Not much to report fabbing wise  went swimming this morning but it was really busy  so I only did a few laps of the pool (me and H take turns while one watches the kids in the little pool).
Took old nail polish off, need to file nails and repaint :) bought some red sparkly polish :D
