Colleague heated fish rissotto in the microwave yesterday and it still stinks - threw my breakfast away as it was tainted; so might have to buy another snack at lunchtime.

You could prevent your colleague from repeating this offence by advising them about the dangers of heating rice in the microwave..

It's not just dangerous for your nose :rotfl:they could get sick too.

  • FREE LUNCH FOR ME TODAY!! HOW MSE IS THAT!

Working at my boss's wife's shop (sure the apostrophes are in the wrong place!) this morning doing her books and I took a delivery in for the deli next door as she had popped out to move her car - luckily for me it was the fresh made sausage rolls from the pig farmer up the road and he gave me a freebie for helping him out - not a whole pig, just a sausage roll - it was delicious!!

Just wondering what to make for tomorrow's lunch. Have some fresh hm bread so may make some tuna mayo to go in it... then I'll have enough left over for sandwich for Friday lunchtime too!!
Trying to stay clear of meat ... so that could do nicely... Will add a few cherry tomatoes on the side, fruit, yoghurt etc. nom nom

Thanks argomatt - I told him to make sure it was piping hot before he ate it because of the bacteria content - as usual he risked the luke-warm version and was fine (as usual).

It was definately dangerous for the nose - and anything else that was being cooked in the microwave :rotfl:.

Saw this and thought of this thread:

Although, what a feast the person who spends £7.81 / day must get!

I've kind of fallen off the wagon due to being all over the place with work, but march should be better!

morning everyone! Pay day yesterday - hurrah! All now allocated to various pots....

Today- not v exciting - tuna and mayo sandwich on home made granary bread. some cherry tomatoes, two clementines and a cereal bar for emergencies.
going to make some low fat fruity tea loaf this weekend so I can bring a slice of that with me to work every day next week with my tea in the afternoon!

Oh I forgot also.... someone brought in a load of sweets to work (as their OH works for a sweet company!) so have stockpiled a few of those in my bag - may share at home or may just put in my locker at work for when needs must - lol!!!
