Thanks for that explanation and 'link'
Managed to get all the codes entered and got two new codes but not received any email with a code and STILL can't find where to try the codes it gave me on the site? Anyone help with this problem?! TIA
Have you checked your spam/junk folder?butterfly )i(0 -
Hi, I would like to say a HUGE thank you to everybody who posted the various codes for free credits on this site - thanks to all of you I have managed to collect 355 credits, which should keep me busy for a few days. Again many thanks.0

I suppose I shouldn't say this - but - if you have more than one email address then you can enter the Daily Mail codes for each one. They will all apply to your FMP account. However, today (31st December) is the last day this will work.

& the Mail gave me two e-mails with 2 different codes for some reason!
Is that because you got a 40 credit and an 85 credit separately? Because that's what it's supposed to do.0 -

Silly me - I should have read the small print. I was just so excited because I have never seen free credits for Scotland's people.
Thank you.0 -
Just tried today. All codes work SNOWFLAKE, SNOWMAN, LCXMAS, WDYTYA, FMPTV2.
Also Daily Mail codes worked apart from VILLIANS so could only get one lot of credits.
Suggest you read TUTOR_TREV post from 28/12/2012 for instructions
I registered with Daily Mail then when asked put in the code MAIL (which I had to research). This unlocks a screen where you can input 10 codes from the list shown earlier in this thread. Then you get a another code which you input on FMP website. I'm not sure if it is generic but I was given DAPA ENFH EFPA HRKJ.
You need to put this code into the Find my Past website slash
VoucherRedemptionServlet which took me ages to find.
RESULT 270 credits0 -

Another tip if going for Ancestry sub is to purchase a Family Tree Maker programme. Depending on which level purchased, you will get a trial sub (usually 3 or 6 months) to Ancestry. Previous years version of FTM can often be picked up cheap at start of new year. These trial subs can therefore work out better value, plus you have the FTM programme to input your finds on. Also, for Tesco clubcard users, check their FTM option too.
Thankyou butterflymum. I'll have a look at all those options.

never EVER posted on a forum before and a bit sad I spose that on New Years Eve we're following forum tips (successfully!!!) to get credits for Find My Past for free! All tips have worked, with a little trial and error-2hrs work, aided by 5 Morgans and coke-well it is N Y Eve! So big thanks to everyone for their tips.By using 4 family e mail accounts on Daily mail, plus other tips on this forum, we have gone from zero credits to 730.Time for another celebratory Morgans I think! Happy new Year to all, we love Martin and his website and don't do anything til we've checked it with him!0
