Wonderful! I've just used the same codes as in post #100 and received 200 credits!

A very big "thank you" to everyone who has contributed to this thread!
  • Many thanks to everyone who posted codes. I have found the only one not working is SNOWFLAKE which has expired. Daily Mail codes are still working. I also registered my husband, son and Mam on the Daily Mail codes as well as using my 2 e-mail addresses and I now have 825 credits!

To BlueWoo - when you use the Daily Mail codes, if you scroll down past where it tells you the codes have expired, there is another link where you can enter the codes.

Its now 23.15 on the 03/01/2013,,all the codes have worked for me over the last 10 minutes or so..I have not treid the DM codes though

Thanks to the thread starter and posters

ps just noticed the posting times are an hour ahead of the actual GMT
  • sheep-ali and bathyboots are right - Daily Mail codes are still working! I used them just now. Like bathyboots says, if you scroll down past where it says the offer has expired, there is a button saying "claim credits now" - you need to click on that.

SNOWFLAKE is also still working - you need to follow the link given in post #1 - it does say it ends on 7th January though so be quick.

Thank you so so much to everybody who has posted codes - I've got myself 375 credits in the past hour! Was supposed to be cleaning the house today - it will have to wait :T:T:T

Yes, my housework is on hold also. This is so addictive.:D
I'm chuffed to have discovered, purely by chance, a very useful FREE site :

    www.familysearch.org

On there I've found lots of relatives including a great uncle's christening details and a great aunt who was in service in a Yorkshire household. It even gave the address where she worked.
    It does BMD and cencus's.

Be careful with the information on this site as it is not always correct.

As with any family history research, you need to confirm the information you find by cross referencing.
  • Just tried SNOWFLAKE again and it worked this time! Thanks for letting us know it was still working annabamma. I now have 875 credits! Will have to find time to use them all in 90 days!!

Seeing as this site can't even find me or my parents, I'd strongly agree with regagila here.
Under no circumstances may any part of my postings be used, quoted, repeated, transferred or published by any third party in ANY medium outside of this website without express written permission. Thank you.

A lot of sites won't have much about people born in the last 100 years due to privacy laws - hence why we can't see any censuses past 1911, yet American censuses up to 1940 are already out.

All the same, I do agree; I've yet to find anything I trusted at familysearch and have always heard it's a site to take with a large pinch of salt.
