I think that is a bit harsh. I know sleeping with him was wrong (and totally not worth it) but what would you have done in my situation? Told him where she had gone? I can remember that night so vividly (including when he came upstairs with the kitchen roll holder and suggested doing something very unhygenic with it - which I of course refused!)

Who knows what he told her, or what she chose to believe? I never intended what happened to happen, and deeply regretted it even during "the act". I don't know why he did it (he thought she was at home, after all).

I think the general consensus is right though. I'm going to let sleeping dogs lie.
Sorry, I maybe appear a bit harsh but it's the one thing I cannot abide in humans is cheating and I'm afraid no excuse under the sun will ever change my opinion of that. What I would have done is kept a massive distance between him and myself, esp with all that crap going on between them. However, please tell us more about the loo holder - what the hell lol???

Apparently the OP feels on some level she did the friend a favour by sleeping with her boyfriend, and therefore buying her some time to conduct her own indiscretions elsewhere, hence why she is labouring this point :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Oh no, not at all. I absolutely shouldn't have done that. But that's not to say everything was 100% my fault.

    notanewuser, are you Dramallama too?

    Whoooooops!

It certainly sounds like dramallama is also notanewuser as the latter (not dramallama) has explained what the guy wished to do with the kitchen roll holder.

That's the risk you run when you post under an AE.

Not a big surprise then that notanewuser posted this:
Ooh, tough one. It sounds like 6 of one, half a dozen of the other. You and her BF betrayed her, but that wouldn't have happened had she not been away betraying him. It wouldn't surprise me if you weren't made the scapegoat for the whole thing.

I believe that was my response!

My old bathroom was at the back of the house, downstairs, through the kitchen. He went to the loo, and obviously spotted the wooden kitchen roll holder on the worktop and decided to bring it back upstairs. I won't tell you what he wanted to do with it, but it was absolutely never going to happen. :rotfl:

I think it's really wrong of those people who are outing the OP's real ID on here. She obviously wanted to stay anonymous and as she's deleted the post made mistakenly under the AE, I think people should delete their references to it also.

There is no reason to out her other than being plain nasty.

Really what's wrong with outing the AE, I don't know the new user or the older user, can't really see why anyone would use a ae anyhow as aren't we all anonymous????????
