I have soap dispensers and i fill them with value baby bath they don't upset ds's exzema and he gets it quite bad, i try to get it when MrS does 1/2 baby stuff it used to cost 9p a bottle when it was on offer now it's more like 20p but still worth it.
I tried value shampoo (which is acualy 40p for a litre) but it dried my hair out so i started going a wash with it and a wash with better shampoo, not 50p but i now use tesco's own head and shoulders, it saves buying seperate conditioner and is only £1 a bottle, i bought loads on 3 for 2 aswellFor the kids i use boots baby shampoo which i buy on buy 1 get 1 half price
or sometimes homebargains has good deals.

Home Bargains do a twin pack of Chocolate covered wafer rolls for 10p. Great for a chocolate fix and I can't remember being able to buy a chocolate bar for that since about 1980!CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Hi
Sainsburys value noodles - I go for the chicken version but rarely use the powder.
For other punters, if you have not listed which store can you add that to you post as some of us would not know which one from the brand name (I almost never go to ASDA for example). If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
Gosh, I use loads of Value/Basics
Most of my cleaning stuff (sponge scourers, bleach, loo cleaner, floor cleaner, dusters, polish)
Biscuits, most we have had have been fine
But the best thing, has to be sains basics teabags. Less than 30p for 80 bags, and they are blooming good!0 -
Tesco value J cloths, 34p for 10 and they are huge. So I cut them in half.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Their value chocolate mousses are also delicious. 26p for 4. Really rich and quite dark choc. Much nicer than the next brand up AND the cadbury ones.
Also buy the value pasta, which is slightly smaller than the own brand, but tastes the same once cooked to me., definitely been under 10p though
.
Forgot to say I also second the value oats, DS loves them, the value oven chips are ok too.Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.

any bar of chocolate under 50p
although if you don't like the taste then its pointless buying just because its under 50pIts not that we have more patience as we grow older, its just that we're too tired to care about all the pointless drama0 -

The value cooking stuff is fine I think. TBH I (and DH) have gone off a lot of chocolate apart from the really expensive stuff these days- it's like the recipe for bog standard chocolate has got more synthetic or something?Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.

Green household soap, available in most supermarkets or hardware stores for anything between 39-49p. A huge bar that can be grated into warm water to be used for cleaning dishes, surfaces, clothes, steps, alloy wheels...... I've even cleaned the moss off plant pots with it.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera.
