I didn't mind the Sainsburys tea, quite a nice sweet raisin flavour to it, but I have to admit when I can afford it I buy PG tips on offer as I think it makes the nicest cuppa for my money.A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0

Hi
Asda smartprice chocolate. The milk for eating and plain for cooking-lovely in chocolate and ginger twinks.:j:)
Tried various cheap teas and they're all too weak. Prefer red label or any shop brand tea.Sealed Pot Challenge No 089-Finally got a signature.:rotfl::j0 -
I've always made sage and onion stuffing, but in anticipation of being a bit busy on Christmas Day this year I bought a packet of Sainsbury's Basics version (for 14p!) and it was great.
Another vote here for Aldi's Magnum washing-up liquid. Much, much cheaper than Fairy, but very comparable - nothing like the watery cheapo versions sold as 'Value', a misnomer if ever there was one.Life is mainly froth and bubble

I agree with the Sainsbugs 28p teabags, I much prefer them to any branded tea bags
Im going to try these, I bought the Sainsburys own/regular teabags 480 for £6 but they are far too strong for me. We usually have Asdas own teabags but the price of them seems to have rocketed lately.***Dont save what is left after spending, spend what is left after saving***0 -

I buy Smart Price from Asda Midget Gems for 48p. I must admit they keep changing prices and only last year they were 29p. But they are still good value and just as good as the branded ones, if not better.
Have you noticed that there are fewer Asda Smart Price sweets to chose from, in our Asda we only have Midget Gems and Toffees, what happened to the Eclairs, Dolly Mixtures & Wine Gums ......***Dont save what is left after spending, spend what is left after saving***0 -
Hi
Have to give a thumbs up to Asda Midget Gems - the children love them - and I have to admit they are softer than the T ones. Great for their Saturday night TV treat - 2 bags under a £1 !!!
We prefer Yorkshire Tea but I do mix it up a bit so will defo have a go at the Sbury Basics T BagsLive as cheaply as possible,Current debt £85k (includes mortgage):(,Taxman £7500  bank of FiL 760 Simply B 945 Jacamo 150 Ccs 3000£1 a day Xmas 2015 7/364

I buy Smart Price ready made yorkshire puddings 12 for 49p, hubby spotted that there are 15 in a packet so I checked my receipt to see if they had gone up in price, but no still 49p !***Dont save what is left after spending, spend what is left after saving***0

i buy the kids value toothpaste as they prefer the milder taste, my youngested hates all strong minty toothpaste so he still has kids stuff which i get in b&m/poundland/home bargains.
quintwins - my eldest hates mint anything hence hates mint toothpaste. I thought he was getting too old at 8 to use the kids fruity ones (and some say 0-6 so not sure if ok??) I've found at long last that Lidl's do a herbal tasting toothpaste (not herbal toothpaste just the "flavour") called something like "herb and fresh", its with the mint toothpaste. He will happily use that now - took a few brushes to convert him mind.

Another fan of pine disinfectant here too!
I re-use supermarket plastic bags for my used cat litter. Costs nothing!0
