Just noticed this thread and would like to add that Tesco have a 3 for 2 offer on EDValue hair gel 15p and feminine hygiene products PL's = 22p and regular POT's = 14p. They might have 3 for 2 on other items but these are the ones I ordered for my delivery yesterday.
I know you might think the hair gel is probably a bit cheap but it's for my 6 yo son who has become image conscious in the past few months.Karma - the consequences of ones acts."It's OK to falter otherwise how will you know what success feels like?"1 debt v 100 days £20000 -
I love Sainsburys Basics!
14p Stuffing Mix
47p Instant Coffee Granules
22p Gravy Granules
29p Cleaning Liquid
30p Frozen Garlic Bread (Highly recommend!)
22p Malt Vinegar
All the value biscuits
Tesco's
6p Instant Custard
25p Savoury Rice
50p Salad Cream (Unbeatable!)
Aldi - all goodI personally think that Lidl and Aldi are responsible for forcing prices down in other supermarkets and keeping prices pegged.

Tesco Everday Value toothpaste - 25p. Tastes fine and seems to do a good enough job on the old gnashers.0

Although I buy the 35p Tesco Disinfectant and put it into the posher Dettol bottles, one thing I never "economise" on is washing up liquid.
I always buy Fairy Liquid. The cheap stuff has no go in it and you have to use loads. But one squirt of Fairy and everything comes out squeaky clean. The cheap stuff is a false economy.0 -
I always used to use Fairy Liquid, but found lately that it seems to have lost its "oomph". Switched to Aldi's and I'm a convert, much better imo.Normal people worry me.0

Fairy makes my dermatitis flare up. I like Tesco concentrated. I only use one squirt and nice hot water.0 -

I've always wondered who buys branded malt vinegar - does it really have a discernibly nicer taste or anything (as it's a lot more expensive).
Though you do need to check that your (cheap) vinegar is actually vinegar and not just ascetic acid aka "non brewed condiment".A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -
Sainsurys is the only place I've found that still sells value stock cubes 10 for 10pA waist is a terrible thing to mind.0
