Looks like I'll have to be going down this route:

Good luck. That'll be cool. Keep us all informed.
So did the flowers turn up?0 -
They turned up two days later, half dead.
Pretty disgusted with the way this company are treating customers.0 -
Help! I was just about to send my sister a floral gift via Prestige but am so pleased I read these posts first. Problem - can anyone recommend a good, reliable firm I could use??0

Glad to see this thread is warning people about these con artists!0

the best way to send any floral gift is to look on google for the recipients local florist, and ring them ON A LANDLINE NUMBER which is geographical to the area, not an 08 number, that way you can be sure they are a 'proper' business and not an order gatherer like these cowboys0

I totally agree with other reviews here that Prestige Flowers do not provide value for money and offer no reasonable response to your concerns or complaints.
Prestige Flowers have a very slick looking website showing a wide variety of bouquets and products. The bouquets look very appealing and the prices look reasonable, especially when there are offers on the majority of bouquets. The website is however very misleading and what you receive as a customer does not match what you expect or pay for in my opinion.
Having upgraded my order from a standard size bouquet of bright summer flowers to a medium sized bouquet I was feeling confident i would receive a nice size bouquet. At £31 pounds plus £5 delivery you would expect a reasonably sized bouquet I would have thought. The flowers were for my wife to cheer her up following surgery and so I wanted to ensure the bouquet had visual impact.
The bouquet was delivered very quickly and the condition of the flowers were very good. These were the good points and where the good points end I am afriad.
The bouquet was too small and not proportionate to the upgraded medium sized bouquet. When I contacted customer services, they very politely told me I had received the correct bouquet. When I approached them again they made it very clear that they would not provide a refund for the difference between the medium sized bouquet and the small bouquet. I even sent photos to show them the size of the bouquet next to my hand to show proportion which illustrates how small the bouquet was but alas, they would not budge on their decision.
I believe their website is very misleading which may be a trading standards issue and so I would advise any potential customers not to be duped by the photographs on the site. My advice would be to look at the illustration of bouquet you are interested, imagine it reduced by a third, and consider whether that bouquet would be worth the money Prestige Flowers are charging.
Needless to say I wont be going back to Prestige Flowers, nor recommending them. I will stick with local florists and the big chains from now on such as Waitrose and M&S where consistency and honesty seem to be higher on the agenda.
I hope this review helps to save you a lot of disappointment.0 -
It's unfortunate that a brokerage such as Prestige Flowers actually exists, but then, that's the way of things nowadays. However: it's only in business because people keep giving it business.
When I was little, we were taught always to look left and right before stepping out into the road. The Internet may be a pure communications highway, but it's busy nevertheless and the chances of being flattened are just as high. The sooner people look Google left and Google right (or use any other search engine, such as Bing) the sooner Prestige Flowers and their ilk will disappear.
Your post is very useful indeed in helping those search engines update their look right / look left warnings -- and there's nothing at all that Prestige Flowers, no matter how many Faecesbook followers it happens to have, can do about that.
Sorry about your experience, but thanks for flagging it up here.0 -
Oh yes. No good complaining to Prestige afterwards. Once they've got your money they dont give a toss.0

I had an awful experience with this company-leave your negetive reviews on the 'review centre' website as they seem to be posting postive feedback for themselves and I would hate for anyone to end up having the same experience as me!0

Yep. Awful indeed.0
