I'm still waiting for a refund of £360 for some carpet which they could not supply and so I cancelled.
Now I have sent the first signed for letter requesting refund in writing with aim of going to a small claim court. I was wondering if anyone had successfully taken this route?
I paid by credit card, but they did not have proper card reading machines and used an ipad which charged the payment via PayPal to an account in the name of the holding company.
Will I still be able to claim via section 75? Also do I need proof that F2G agreed to refund or do I just need the CC receipt which includes estimated delivery date?

Just to add to the weight of evidence on this thread, I'm another one who wishes I'd researched this company more thoroughly before ordering.
I ordered approx £1,000 of oak flooring and accessories, waited in all day on the designated day of delivery, nothing arrived. Some flooring eventually arrived but several weeks later I'm still waiting for the accessories in the order to be delivered. I've sent various emails (they're never answered) and made numerous phone calls (usually on hold for 5 minutes each time before the call is dropped). I've been told the person I ordered with (Craig Goldsby) has left the company, but his direct line 0121 380 5106 still answers with his voicemail so I suspect he is still there taking money off new customers.

He has left - they made some redundancies at head office at the beginning of this month - I was also one of them.0

I'm having the same run around with an order. Told it was delay because of easter. Only to find out that is hasn't even left the suppliers.
Every member of staff has told me something different.
Complete ball sack of a company !0 -
We bought a fairly disappointing engineered oak floor off them. Should have taken it back straight away as it was not comparable with the quality of their display samples. Knots everywhere and a couple of pieces not it properly so they didn't fit together. However, I fitted it and can't be bothered going through the hassle of trying to get refunds. It looked quite good when installed but has discoloured fairly significantly over time. Would not use this company again.
Add to that the annoyance of getting countless marketing texts off them despite telling them at point of purchase that we didn't want any marketing whatsoever.

We ordered an engineered oak floor from Floors2Go in Jan 2014. It was finally laid late April 2014 after loads of missed delivery dates. We had to buy our own beading despite having paid for it - non delivery! We also had to pay for delivery charges on extra wood that had to be ordered because they didn't get the measurements right. To be fair, Darren at the Basildon (Essex) office did fill in a refund form for us - some £135. Apparently, Darren is no longer an employee > a familiar scenario reading some of the posts above. We haven't seen hide nor hair of a refund and I will post here if we actually do get one. At the moment, "Mark" from Floors2Go has been chasing up our refund for the last month or so - no success yet. There is a picture of our floor on their Facebook site - it really is a nice floor. But was it worth it? The jury is out on that one. The £135 refund is precisely that - a refund. We haven't asked for compensation for all the stress and all the "problem with the system" excuses we were given. I feel sorry for the guys working for this company. Every time we went into the shop there seemed to be someone complaining about something and the guys behind the counter were getting a lot of abuse. Not my style. I'm just crossing my fingers that Mark will sort this out. He seems sincere. As I said, I'll let you know.0

Similar experience. Paid £1250 at Swansea Silvertree branch for laminate. Told 10 days max delivery. Many later calls, told 'in in a few days'.
Final call told 'we have cancelled your order and you will be refunded; you should have been told days ago by our area manager but I think he's been replaced'. Wanted instant refund. Told their policy was 10 days before a cheque is sent. I wanted written confirmation They said will take 48 hours to get confirmation out that the 10 days period has started.
Conclusions...
a) going bust (again)
b) reliant on customer money to keep afloat
c) no reason for order cancellation give - suspect supplier won't supply as hasn't been paid
d) why 10 day wait for refund on an order they cancelled ?
- they took my money up front.
e) 10 days refund period starts from when, since they hadn't told me the order was cancelled ?
AVOID THIS COMPANY. HAVE FILED A COUNT COURT CLAIM AGAINST THEM. UNIMPRESSED BY CITIZIENS ADVICE WHO CLEARLY DO NOT DO STATISTICAL SURVEYS OF COMPLAINT VOLUMES BY RETAILER, ELSE ALL WARNING LIGHTS WOULD BE FLASHING WITH THESE SHYSTERS WHO MOVE FROM ONE PRE PACK ADMINISTRATION TO THE NEXT.0 -
Wish i had researched this company better. Ordered wood flooring from their Streatham Branch. Was promised the order on a particular date - when i phoned a few days before to confirm - could not get through to anyone. Sales staff there are instructed to lie and blame head office. Head office do not answer any calls. Its an awful company - and am surprised watchdog have not investigated them as yet. They promised me another delivery date, which after reading these forums - i knew would not happen. So i asked for a refund - at which point i was shown a small notice hung up in their store which stated that they can only refund £250.00. This is pointless as anyone buying any small amount of flooring will easily go past £250.00.
The only saving grace i have is that this item was purchased on a credit card. I have called the credit company to get the forms - so this should be a fairly straightforward process now, and i will have my refund back to me, as the credit card company can do a chargeback.0 -
omg i have saved up for 6 months to get my flooring. Guess what i went to Floors2go... and 8 days ago i placed my order with the Aintree Branch who said it will be delivered within 7-10 working days. I have no contact from their delivery company, so i called an was fobbed off by the sales assistant who said the company has been taken over and the new company will honour orders from the 5th July 2014!! ermmm what about mine from the 31st June 2014. was given head offices number constantly engaged so called sales line oh guess what they answer that and werent happy with me. they said that this new company are trying to set up a customer service and will call me in the following week some time to discuss my order.... fuming is not the word! I am a single mother, with severe back problems and have no flooring down as i never expected to be ripped off. Help what can i do? I gave my friend the cash and he used his credit card.0

Hi,
I'm having the same problem. Thy haven't been brought out, just changed the name from Nikon & Hope ltd to floors to go ltd. A company called ANBO are dealing with the logistics side for them (as they make such a mess of it). Google them and call their number. I've just got off the phone and waiting for an answer. Hoping I will finally get some where. Either my flooring or a refund. Anyone looking to order through them DONT as you will not get your flooring.
Hope you get somewhere.
