Good Morning and Happy New Year :j

Hope you all had a lovely evening... yours sounded like it was going to be fabulous Dolly.

Well done PM - very MSE :D and you too Clippy for starting as you mean to go on.

Mine didn't go to plan - worked until 5 and then got text from best friend saying she was in hospital :( She has had fluey, cold bug like everyone else over Christmas but has other health issues too. Phoned her husband who was on own with 3 kids and so did an emergency trip to ASDA for him, before driving across town to take clothes and special dietary food etc in for friend.

Finally got home at about 8:30 to cook tea for my lot. So a few games on wii, a bar of baileys and a bottle of wine and bed just after 12. A much better new year than lovely friend though who was having a lumbar puncture at 01:15 for suspected meningitis.

I feel like I should be starting today, being Jan 1st and all, but waiting for official weigh in tomorrow. I have popped on scales though and also have 70lb to lose! And I am going to do it :)

My update: (assuming £s lost is overpayments made to date, so mine is £15 I am paying extra on tsb card)

    14 Flumpkin - Loss for Jan = 0lb, total loss = 0lb, £1's lost = £15

    Hello all!
I'm another that stayed in last night and was in bed with a book by 11pm! Rock and roll!
On the positive side I had 2 NSDs in a row (won't be today though) and have stuck to the diet and exercise.

Been for a 5.5k run this morning and am just about to go out to visit a friend for a couple of hours. She's a notorious feeder so hopefully I'll be able to avoid the goodies ;)

    WelshWoofer- Loss for Jan = 0lb, total loss = 0lb, £1's lost = £0

Weighed yesterday and so will use that as my start weight. Want to lose at least 7lbs more and then maintain it - thats the hard bit for me!
  • Happy New Year everyone!!!!!

I am not going to be resetting my totals this morning the reason for that is that the payments that I made I would have been making today 1st January 2013 anyway but I paid them early cos I got my wage early.

I am feeling fresh this morning didnt drink to excess last night - my feet are killing me though!!!

    Dxxx

Happy New Year to all :):)

I have just eaten half a Terry's choccy orange (free with O2 Priority Moments) and six chocolate biscuits. Hmm. Best start over again with this challenge.

Right, on my marks, get set, GO.

Current weight 9st 2, target weight 8st 7. My unsecured debts have minimum payments of around £850 per month :o, so anything over that will count as my lost £s. Will update weight at end of each month and £s overpaid on 15th of each month (as that's payday).

    Good luck to all!
LBM Dec 2011. Aimed, but failed, to clear all unsecured debt by Feb 2019. Finally free of unsecured debt 21st May 21!

    Debt Dec 11: Unsecured £69,579 + Mortgage £59,948 = £129,527
Debt May 21: Unsecured ZERO! ZILCH! Mortgage £22,332

Sort of looking forward to starting things tomorrow but we have so much stuff still left over from xmas.

Had been planning on having hot chocolate with squirty cream (tis the low fat one lol :p) and marshallows over the holidays but they haven't even been opened. Might just have to have one later as it will only keep popping up in my head.

Having family meal tonight of lamb wellington with Auntie Bessies duck fat roasties (xmas leftovers again). Got tons of bread and milk in and DH has just said that we can put a bread and butter pudding in later when the oven is on

DS has said he will sort out a spare ipod for me to try myfitnesspal. Can anyone tell me if this is any good and point me in the right direction for using it. I am an oldie and not very technically minded (not quite a total technophobe) :D

Not looking forward to weigh in tomorrow. DH keeps telling me that I wont weigh any less by not getting weighed - I know I just live in a world of denial :o. Got so much to lose I don't really want to think of that in a sense as it is just too daunting but might just concentrate on a stone at a time might make things seem more manageable.

Balanced the bank statement yesterday and the gym d/d sort of reminded me that I haven't been at all since the week before xmas so I will be there on Thursday morning 7.30 am ;)

Good luck everyone with the losses for January.

    Evening everyone...

Nice to see everyone's getting in the right frame of mind to be super skinny and super rich this year lol...although I'm sitting here trying to work out what naughty food I can eat without ruining my first day !!!

Have a soup in the slow cooker, not sure how it will taste as its just some cauli & broccoli that I needed to use up, garlic and stock but thought I could add some onions and other seasoning if needs be once its nearly cooked.

I'm off to think up some more ways of making money to take my mind off food!!
