Well ladies and gents, I am on a lurking mission.....I had a much need lie in this morning, albeit longer than it should have been as I only managed to get the main bathroom S&S and downstairs hoovered before I killed one of my hoovers (snapped a fan belt AGAIN!) and the tiler arrived.
Yes, a lie in was very much needed as I got a phone call from one of DD1 friends just before midnight to say she was very much worse for wear after de-cluttering her digestive system multiple times and did I want to retrieve her:o:o:o
DD2 was summoned in on DS duty, while I headed off into the night to the behind end of a tiny little hamlet to find a house on a dirt track I have only been to in the day time (and no mobile signal to operate a Sat Nav )
At some point, I need to go back there as DD1 shoes went MIA and she came out barefoot :eek::eek: but out of time today, as I won't be going there in the dark, as the tiler is still here.
Limited flying has taken place today while tiler has been here, a quick S&S round kitchen, DW has been fed, some cherry pies and animal biscuits have been made with DS.....tiler has de-clutter numerous cups of Tea, and I have retreated to my bed while DD2 is on Tea making duty downstairs
:D:D DD1 has surfaced to only to join me while muttering predictions such as "I am never going to drink again!"
Oh well.....my bed is now getting crowded DS has climbed in too...so much for a rest
have fun everyoneThe cold never bothered me anyway0 -
I very much doubt it:o - and I still have a cake to ice:p

This weeks lists just about complete. Certainley helped coming back to Flyladies. Went out and did last minute shopping first thing this morning. Have still got two cards to deliver but not going till this rain fairs up. Don't want to get soaked.
Just having a cuppa then will S&S the bathroom. Got a lasagne to make for tea. WM x2 done so they will be dry and put away before Monday.
Hope you are all staying safe in this weather. I was watching the news about Cornwall earlier.
Hugs,sticks and spoons where needed.0 -

You beat me welshdreamer well done! That went on longer than anticipated and still not managed to get the hoover out yet! How much washing and folding
OH and DS back, shopping put away, couple more pressies wrapped, lunch made for me by OH and now DS is making us a cuppa.:A
Will get back at it once it's finished, reckon I'll be flying again about 3.15 if y'all want to do something. I'm going to hoover the whole house and make a start on the dusting as I know you can write your name on the TV stand thanks to the coal fire.

Me too - presents to wrap and 2 cakes to ice here too! ( I have made a gluten-free one for me as an experiment this year - if it's OK then I'll just make a gluten free one next year!)
Although one year when I was a kid my mum didn't make the Christmas cake until Christmas Eve! I may have been wrapping at silly o'clock but I have always managed to make my cake in October or November..
I'm working on the room of doom (aka the dining room) as I refuse to go into town in this weather! But I have used my co-op vouchers towards 2 turkey crowns (1 for Christmas day/ boxing day and t'other for New Year.) Having 2 crowns worked well last year - gave us the chance to have some normal food inbetween the roasts...:jFlylady and proud of it:j0
