    Gah d@mn you t@x credits!

Just had a letter from the "examination" centre, they want all the paperwork on my childcare. Not a problem in itself, but I only get email invoices (which I apparently can't forward) and today is their last nursery day for two weeks. T@x credits want my paperwork by 15th Jan (which I guess is actually 4 weeks away so not as hairy as it sounds lol).

They want to know if there is anything I wish them to take into account when they cosider if a penalty should be charged!

Lol it all sounds very official, but the lady I spoke to said it was routine, they have to do so many per year, and it's mostly random. So not to worry, as long as nursery were charging me what I told them originally. Plus it's only one tax year so that will make the paperwork easier to get hold of.

Just when you think you have everything organised, lol.

  • Well.....I have procured some tiles ready for saturday........had some food on the run, currently residing in the Slothville Suite at the Skint Ritz (aka my bedroom) trying to banish tree trunks with the power of positive thinking

sorted some paperwork for DD3 and DS before it started croaking.

Received phonecall this morning from DD2 prospective Uni this morning, we have appointment to go see them tomorrow, so I have a long drive both ways and 2 hours on my feet to look forward to :eek::eek:

DD3 has last concert to perform at tonight. But she has offered to cook "dinner" tonight by way of a thank you and to give me a headstart for tomorrow.

So in lieu of doom ahead, flying at level 1 may have to be suspended, at least for today :o:o:o
The cold never bothered me anyway
  • skintbreeder, the most important thing at this or any time of the year is your health, so put your feet up and let the world and cleaning wait for someone else to do it for a bit.
speaking from experience here as i have a christmas baby (he'll be 18 later this week!) not sure which is more stressful a birth or an 18th to organise in the run up to christmas:rotfl:
he was very good and arrived exactly on his due day and even waited for me to get home from doing the big christmas shop at asda and cook the tea for the others. (ok my waters did break while putting the shopping away) but wasnt having contractions so chanced getting shopping away and tea on before ringing for advice. was told to go down and later that evening was attended to by a young tom cruise lookalike who was training to be a dr the midwife who delivered DD3 recognized my name on the boards and came in for a cuddle. it later emerged the poor young dr was jinxed and kept attending births that ended up being C sections he was despairing of doing a 'natural birth' and the midwife remembered how quickly and easily id expelled DD3 so she sent him in to me. he looked more relieved afterwards than me that everything had gone ok.
DD3 was so easy i was in the hospital 11 minutes before she arrived and didnt even have time to get undressed thats why i stuck in the midwifes mind:D

    :Dmrs mp :D

My waters went with DS on exactly due date. But he didn't arrive till next day. DD was 5 days late, then all of a sudden she was there, very little warning. My waters never went with her, she came out in the membranes and mw had to burst it... Kids, eh? You still can't second-guess them even after they are born :D

Skinty, hope your bubba stays put until a time more convenient for you ;)

Hooray Bossymoo! Enjoy your time with your lovely little moos.

Mrs MP. I can't imagine organising an 18th this close to Christmas. DD1 was 21 at the beginning of the month and that was bad enough! Your labour tale made me smile. Ditto Bossymoo.

BB - Wow what an icon for your DS to get an award from, is she local to you? How exciting.

We made it to Stratf0rd Westf1eld today. First time I've been. Very impressed and we only did indoors. So many shoe shops! I love shoe shops!

Just done another HHI. Hung more washing on the maiden. I have warned DS2 that if he doesn't keep his room tidy I will put his new bike out of bounds so that he has to do his paper round on foot. He must like his bike because he's bounded upstairs and is now rummaging in the cupboard for the hoover.

I managed to doze off for a while when DH drove back from Stratf0rd. I'm full of cold but looking forward to my night out. I will dose myself up and go out and have a good time.

Hmm. Just collected tots from nursery. DS was fast asleep on one of the ladies' knee! She called at 4 as he had a temp, gave him some meds then apparently he just climbed onto her lap and nodded off. He'd been there an hour :D she said her bum was numb. He seems fine now, stuffing his face and copying "tree fu Tom"

But, the office lady has done me a letter on headed paper with a monthly fee breakdown for me :A so just need to print the covering letter and send of my bits and bobs. Not so much of a hassle as I thought...
