Tesco and John Lewis blocking Samsung Cashback ?

Nightmare trying to get the cashback. I gave my son the money to buy a laptop with £100 cashback for students. couldnt claim for 28 days in case you got a refund after purchase ,then you had a 2 week slot to send receipt and claim details in. purchase date 7th sept, sent relevant info 12th oct. contacted them a couple of weeks after to ask when cheque would arrive,they were 'looking into it' . Finally acknowledged receipt of claim 24th nov and was told between 30-45 days before cheque would arrive. still waiting. they have until next week then I will have to work out how to take it further and get the money back. Any ideas anyone??
If you look on argos reviews for samsung products with cashback offers lots of people having the same problem. I think 4 months is taking the p myself

I phoned Opia/Samsung before Xmas to clarify the offer and they confirmed that the offer would be valid for the tablet purchased at John Lewis.

i ordered from tesco direct on 12/12 and picked it up from local store on 13/12. put my claim in on 1/1 and got an email today requesting

please provide a photo of the receipt showing date of purchase/collection, item and price please provide a photo of the back of the tablet showing the model/serial number

with my claim i sent a copy of a order email and a dispatch email, thats all i have. i only clicked in today that i had no receipt from the store when i picked it up, :doh: i just showed my ID and she gave me the parcel and that was it. anybody in the same postion? (no receipt given in store on collection?)

I did a cash back deal with samsung on a TV... didn't have to claim it throiugh the retailer. You had to do it through a third party who then send you a pre paid debit card. Prior to them sending out you have to give product code and proof of purchase etc.
