that brings me to a very popular question....lol...
- has anyone tried switching with only 2dd and no source of income?
if so...have you been successful?
- i ask this because, ive just switched and they have deposited the £100, but dont know whether halifax will take this back?...once they realise i dont have any income???0 -
If you don't switch your salary, or don't have salary, they have a right to take it back, even if it means you going overdrawn.
It's been said that Halifax manually check each account thats been awarded £100 to ensure the conditions have been met, but no timeframe has been given.0 -

if no time frame is given, - so can they take the £100 back after a year?0 -

I'd say they'd only want to see a single payment, so probably would check once, after two or three months. They might even just check random accounts, but considering the abuse of the offer last time, they were effectively making £100 for each refused incentive, so it was well worth doing.
Of course, we only have the say-so of people on here, so it may or may not be fact.0 -
so would i have a good chance, if i was to get a standing order payment comming in, eventhough its not a BGC, its still a transfer in, so i would have thought its classed as income?0

Its classed as a payment in not necessarily classed as income, at least not in the sense of it being paid in by an employer or benefits agency.
They can claim the £100 back anytime they want, especially if they decide you have breached the T&C's of the account.Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:0 -

How about you look at the answers to the other threads where you have asked these same questions multiple times?0 -
