Careful what you say on forums, there have been a number of cases of folk getting the jail after admitting their demeanours online!0 -
Better luck next time, those who constantly go about at excessive speeds, interacting with a mobile phone stuck to their ear, even if just for a voice message, should be banned from the roads indefinitely.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

In your first post you admitted you were listening to an answerphone message, in your latest you say you told the court you were just putting it on the dashboard.
If they happen to see this thread (which, unfortunately, both of your posts have been quoted in so you can't delete them) then you've got a real chance of being charged with perjury (lying to the court) or perverting the course of justice. It's also an entirely separate charge, so not dependent on the outcome of the mobile phone case.
Both of those are far more serious than getting 12 points and a ban. And yes, there's almost certainly enough info in this thread for them to identify you if they chose to

complete bull, i was listening to an answer phone message on my speaker phone, putting the phone on the dash.0

The speeding phone user is still in the roads.
Hope you all get home safely tonight.0 -

Not bull at all. That clearly isn't what you told the court happened because, if you had, you would have been admitting guilt and they would have found you guilty even without police evidence.
You were "using" it as soon as you pressed the first button to call your answerphone. Seeing as it wasn't on the dash at that time (or you wouldn't have needed to be putting it on the dash), guilty would have been the only verdict.
So you intentionally misled (ie: lied to) the court and no amount of wriggling with words will change that if they do see this and decide to proceed.0 -

hope you have learned a lesson and that you no longer speed and no longer use your phone while driving, but somehow I doubt it0 -
