  • Hi

I was wondering if anyone could kindly recommend referr me to WorldPay.

Are the fees of WordPay lower than Intuit?

    Kind Regards

It will depend on a number of factors.

We joined Worldpay around 6 months ago (from HSBC Global Payments) with a £1m+ per month contract, so they're understandably competitive. For smaller business, I don't know.

lf what you're liking for is Worldpay Zinc, have a look on their website. A flat 2.75% was the last rate I saw there.

If you want a referrer for the handset there is a forum on this site - Referrers) although I'm not sure the promotion is still running.

I found WorldPay Zinc a better option than iZettle. I signed up for both but committed to buying the chip pin reader for iPhone from WorldPay. I'd say that Zinc appeared a more mature product and perhaps a little bit more professional. Not much in it. The Chip PiN reader is bluetooth so not physically connected, and has the professional branding. Customers were not fazed by the kit and seemed happy to do the transaction and entering PIN.

However iZettle have a very cumbersome VISA process (just VISA) so I was less impressed with that compromise, and secondly they hyped their £50 discount on the reader for Santander customers - that transpired to be for Santander BUSINESS customers only - so that was the deal breaker.

Zinc is smooth and there are no downsides. % fees are same as everyone else. Initial outlay is only the chip and pin reader which is discounted if you get a referral code from a current user (see the MSE referral thread - I have a discount code on there)

I use it for craft fairs for £100+ artwork and it really helps - especially as not many customers consider credit card transactions on mobiles.
  • Hello I know this thread is a few months old but I am currently trying to decided between world pay zinc or izettle, would anybody be kind enough to offer a referral code for world pay if it is still available please?
    Many thanks in advance

    Hi Guys

New to this site and was looking for a izettle and came across this thread.

The worldpay zinc sounds like a little more of the thing we need to take payments.

Has anyone got a referal code?

I cant find the referrals site - where is it?

Founds the referrals thread site and added a message there

    cheers

Hi, ive been using Worldpay Pay as you go for over a year now, i find it great for my Plumbing & Heating business, it beats queuing up at the bank to pay cheques in.
You can also get a £20 discount when signing up by using this code: FR978776
