Well NRAM wrote to me advising of a change in phone number. I wonder if there is any significance in that and it means they are tooling up and preparing for the announcement to be made?
No, it's just them moving to "inclusive package" phone numbers as mandated by the government (The Consumer Rights Directive).
With effect from 1st July 2015 we have switched our telephone numbers to 03 numbers. This means the cost of calling our new numbers using a landline is the same as calling a standard UK number (those starting 01 or 02).
And calls to our 03 numbers from mobiles are included in many ‘bundled minutes’ and ‘unlimited calls’ packages – so it’s just like calling a normal UK landline number – making it cheaper if you do need to call.

If a decision is made in our favour, how long would it take to adjust the balance (if there is one) etc? If this does happen and at an estimated 5k.. I am FINALLY debt free from my 158k DMP in Sept rather than this december.

Fingers crossed Keg, me too. I've had a rotten 7 years in my life and stressed under the pressure of litigating with a very large insurance company that are refusing to pay what is due to me. It is going my way and I see it ending about a month after this one. Come back nice life I've missed you so much. Financial institutions stink in every way, not all but most!

Yeah, things have been really tough for us too. Flat sat empty, on the market not one viewing yet. Costing over £600 per month ! In a real tough situation, need some good luck too !!!

Hi everyone, I seem to be in a similar situation, I had a together mortgage in 2007 with a £30k unsecured loan as part of the deal. I changed my main mortgage in 2012 and my repayments went up from approx £150 pm to approx £330! I even arranged an appointment to explain I was going through a divorce and could we come to an agreement that the interest rate could be frozen for a period of time. Displaying no customer service whatsoever they declined. I have since been paying that amount. Currently after 8 years of paying all of this money out, my balance has hardly been touched. I called them today and asked if they could confirm my account was affected by this, I was told it was not that easy to find out. I asked for a copy of my original paperwork to be sent which they are sending within 5 working days (I didn't mention I had mislaid my originals) could someone explain what I should look for once these arrive? Thanks in advance.

IF they arrive !!! I suppose with the CCA logo. I got copies sent out and the CCA Logo wasn't on them but don't let that put you off. Mine had a print stamp with the word COPY on.
