OK I'm hoping this is my final spend of £3.04 in Ald's yesterday. I'm not going over my budget but I want to be under it. I'm off to Feb's GC now to set my limit. Fingers crossed for less money next month0

Well, I've just updated my signature - and since last doing so I've managed to spend just over £114 of my grocery budget
I've still got about £48 of this months budget left though, and with only 2 more days to go to the end of the month I don't think I'm going to need to buy anything else..... so hopefully I'll have a fair bit left to carry over, and hopefully it'll continue to roll over until May when I need a fair chunk for the first food festival of the year. I always come home from those with loads of good quality sausages, nice cuts of venison and - from this one - some wonderful sponge puddings. (I also need to work on clearing out some freezer space before then, so that should also help with keeping the grocery spends down over the next couple of months?)
Unfortunately a fair chunk of the most recent spend has been on treats/garbage that I should be avoiding (most include dairy which I'm trying to exclude from my diet at the moment), but it's also included a trip to C0stco which saw me stock up on 15 meals worth of boneless chicken thighs (over £17), a dozen tins of tomatoes (£4, which won't even be started until next month), and 1kg of goats cheese (this doesn't seem to bother me like normal cheese, and at £6 was a LOT cheaper than from Mr T or Mr A).
I've also had a few Whoopsie buys in the meat line. At Whoopsie prices I still through they were quite expensive, but I'd never have been able to look at such good quality items had they been full price - so I just bit the bullet and coughed up for them as I'm trying to eat better quality/lower fat cuts due to my cholesterol levels which is why my grocery budget is actually so much higher than in previous years.
I seem to be spending a fair bit on fruit and (especially) veg now.... it's frightening how fast my bill shoots up when that gets scanned through the till  A quick tot up tells me that £42.28 of my spend has been on fresh, tinned and frozen fruit/veg, so that's around 26% of my total spend!!!!
Not declaring this as a final spend yet, as I've misplaced a small receipt from A!di last week. I've tried to remember what I picked up in that trip, but I'm sure I've forgotten a couple of bits.Cheryl0 -

Oops, another spend today - this time £5.65 on chicken and fabric conditioner which I couldn't get yesterday for a good enough price in my normal supermarket. I know I'll need a few bits for the weekend. Still, we're getting ever closer to the end of the month!
