What are you expecting this Christmas?

I'm expecting the best Christmas ever.
This time last year I was just over 3 months into a 6 month course of chemotherapy so I wasn't feeling great. Since I finished the course I no longer see Christmas (or anything for that matter) as a chore.
I'm getting into the spirit of things already. I can't wait. I'm actually excited about Christmas this year. In many previous years I've considered Christmas to be a waste of my holiday time. It's true to say I've been a bit of a Scrooge type character. Not any more! I'm even buying a Christmas jumper!
I also expect to get very, very drunk. I couldn't drink last year, so I'm making up for it this year!0 -
Im expecting to spend xmas morning with my housemate drinking fizzy wine (for me) and orange juice (housemate) while we open our gifts to each other and have a bacon and egg sandwich.
My housemate will then do the lovely favour of driving me to my parents house where I will exchange presents and help my mom prepare the veg (and I will open a bottle of sherry/port so we can have a tipple at the same time!)
Im then expecting to go with my step-dad to collect my nan who will help me and my mom drink the sherry before we settle down for a feast.
I will then expect to be back home about 6pm to meet the housemate and we will have a wander up to the pub to meet friends and play games!
I expect most days between xmas and new year will be spent eating and drinking either at home or at friends houses (I have a couple of friends who’s birthday is around this time of year!)
I fully expect my liver to be begging for water by January 1st!!0 -
Have to confess to not feeling very Christmassy at all as I'm so tired and working so many hours it's unreal. I've only had just over 8 hours sleep since saturday afternoon
