If he's bought this for his friend, they must have heard the songs before, its hardly an 18 is it? if they aren't allowed to buy something or watch something, they will just go to someone elses house to watch/listen to it.0

he probably heard more naughty words on his way to and from hmv in the high street to be honest
The sticker is there to say that there is bad language on the album. If hes a fan of deadmau5 hes heard it all anyway
Fyi, deadmau5 is like electro dance music, and profanity would be pretty minimal0 -
He's 13 not 9, I wouldn't be worried I'm sure they've both heard the music before if its something they like anyway. I used to have tons of albums at that age with that sticker on, and none were really that bad.0

I would leave it, he's obviously not hidden it from you which is just what he'll start doing if you interfere!0

Just peel off the sticker. Problem solved :P
For the record Deadmau5 ("dead mouse") is pretty tame and even people like P!nk get a parental advisory sticker. And music is so easy to listen to online with no restriction it would be pretty redundant trying to censor that sort of thing!Hi. when i was 13 my friends were into ice cube
(showing my age)
lets just say if i posted a link to one of his songs i would probably get bannedWho remembers when X Factor was just Roman suncream?0 -
To be fair there's not even anything which means a label has to put a "parental advisory" sticker on an album - probably just contains some swearing or maybe some lyrics about drug use. Not exactly going to corrupt the young man or his "girl friend" it's a bit of dance music & probably won't contain anything any worse than they'll see on Eastenders.Retired member - fed up with the general tone of the place.0

I have a few albums with the logo on that do not feature any bad language or iffy themes, whereas no Guns N' Roses album I have features the logo, despite featuring regular profanities.
Pretty sure mine do but the vinyl is in the loft and I'm not going to check. May have been use Your Illusion I or II. I do have a WASP "Mean Man" single with a sticker saying, "this version does not contain dodgy lyrics" or something similar :rotfl:0
