I was finished today, we saw a few clues at our depot with a suprise audit and stock returning but no warning from the management. Those high up in the big houses will no doubt have a nice xmas but the hard working staff who have struggled through these years with no pay rises and a job full of stress will not.

Just discovered today about Drive assist!! My car was in for repair after receiving a rear shunt! Other driver admitted liability. Garage says my car was finished yesterday but will not release the car because of the situation with Drive assist. My broker says wait until tomorrow and we might be able to give you advice. I have a car currently from Drive Assist and wonder what I should do to get my car back and should I return the car from Drive assist for fear of receiving the bill direct??

You could contact the other Insurers and ask if they could pay the garage direct

My car was total loss and there hand witten cheque was canceled on Friday last week that before the administration so where is that money in Stevens back pocket I guess

Can any drive assist x staff confirm that cheques are handwritten out of a cheque book

I would have thought they would be printed on the bottom of the letter
A 100m pound company and they right cheques like from your personal cheque book ??
I think they did this just so they could recover the hire car
And he said there is nothing to pay on the hire car sign here

You carnt see anything on the PDA till its emailed to you when I looked every thing was ok but fuel level he put empty when it had just under 1/2 tank

Gues they will try to con me out of that!

The enforcability of Drive Assist's electronic signatures is questionable. Do a google search for "Drive Assist Electronic Signature"

I have drive assists car!!! They took mine in for repair. When I gave it to them it worked fine, was a minor bump from other driver. They sent it back to me and now it doesn't work!!

Now that they have gone bust, where will I get my money from, for my apparent write off car! (Which obviously it is now because it doesn't work!!!)

If the garage are responsible for this, then they should be pursued for recompense.

Get some legal advice on this (as it seems the third party liable for your damage is not responsible for the car now not working)

x employee here, ive never known anyone get charged for the fuel level on the pda, as long as the driver can reach a garage he wont mind.
On the pda when you sign on collection any charges are shown.
