Thanks hun.
We're with an estate agents & although their great if something goes wrong, their not so quick with getting it repaired. Like yesterday for example: Our 2 week old shower decided to blow up and shot water all over the inners of the electric shower. Today the repair chap came out & its our fault. Nothing to do with the fact he fitted it incorrectly.
Also, We have cream carpets, He's walked all over the house, climbed into the bath with inch think mud on his shoes. Which means now, I've got to hire a carpet cleaner to get the mud stains out, or when it comes to our visit, Next month, We will be accsued of walking mud in the house.
The mould has been reported for the past 9 months as its slowly got worse. Now OH is coughing all the time, Very chesty and all i keep getting from them is that they will deal with it when they can!? So, I think i might have no choice to take a visit to cab to see where we stand.
Glad & good to know that someone else has been through depression. Its a illness that makes you feel rather lonely at time!
Babies are on the cards here. OH & I have been together for over 6 years. We're both on the wrong side of 20 & been trying for ages with no good result. So, Loosing 3 stone would get me to a target weight of NHS treatment should that be required.
xxFuture goals:
Become debt free.
Beat Depression.
Be happy & healthy0 -

You local council should have an housing enforcement department that deals with private rental properties. Basically rhey ask you to write to your letting agent/landlord, giving them 14 days to rectify the damage/damp/mould. After this point, if nothing is done they can start legal proceedings to force the landlord to make good any damp/mould. I deal with our local one all the time as part of my job and they are very good and get things done. there is no excuse for mould/damp in any proerty, it's not safe and a health hazard. Hi Folks - just a quick update!
Got weighed tonight - 1.5lbs off! 2% of what I want to lose in 2013. So well chuffed as haven't been weighed since 28th Dec - tummy problems obviously helping!!! LOL
And, it's my 1st year anniversary of stopping smoking and I am incredibly proud of my achievement as it's probably the most difficult drug addiction to beat in life!
Debt wise, I have paid 1.8% of my 2013 target so all in all things are looking and feeling good at the moment!
Hope everyone is doing ok and are feeling ok with all those nasty bugs and things flying around

I just worked mine out by taking the total & the amount that I can afford to pay then divided it.
That worked for me anyway.

The gist I've got from this site is that it will cost you much less in interest to overpay the cc than the mortgage. There is a difference of nearly 20% interest rate between my cc and mortgage!!! Lid when the cc is paid off you will have more to pay towards the mortgage.Number of debts between us - 3 (2 @ 0%)0 -
It would make sense to clear off the higher rate interest one first then you will be able to make higher overpayments to the mortgage.
Cant remember if I told you all but my tumble drier got all fixed up & it was free cos it was covered under the warranty - phew.
Still got my cold aswell but it is finally goin & I will have to go back to work tomorrow to face the music with them.
I also managed to knock my kindle over & crack the screen!!! Jeezoooooooooo what am I like if its not one thing its the other LOL.
Dug out the receipt & I took out the cover with it cos the guy gave me the case FOC so took that back today & they swapped it for me.
I have still not really been eating as good as I could have been but its cos I'm still not feeling 100% so will definitely be on WW on Sunday.
Hope you are all well

A payment and weigh-in update from me today.
£100 paid off so brings my total paid to £313.97 / £15,916.13 (2%)
Weigh-in last night was not so sucessful, a 1lb gain. That itself doesn't sound too bad as it was my birthday but this is on top of the 6lb I gained over christmas and new year!
Anyway the slate has been wiped clean and I'm back on it now so can hopefully report a loss of some kind next week.:oFaced my debts in 2012 & 2013 again in 2017 now hitting it in 2018!

Have had a good start to the year -
managed NSD's x 7, have not bought a thing in the sales :-)
food shopping budget is £139 spent out of my £400 so doing well on that.
collected 6 x £2 coins upto now, plus lots of loose change going into my sealed pot.
1 more payment on my Lloyds CC and that will be paid off completely.
Weight loss - 3.1/2lbs lost in week 1.
Walked my dog yesterday in our local woods and found an Iphone lying in the mud - did the decent thing by handing it in to the police station, then today discovered my bank debit card had been compromised and someone tried to use it in Barbados - sadly it was not me !! now it's been cancelled and I have to wait 5-7 days for a replacement - looking on the bright side I guess there's another few NSD's to add to my total :-)SPC 6 # 1850 £2 coin saving challenge #119
