Just to let everyone who sent Dog get well vibes, the stronger antibiotics finally seem to have cured her tummy problems at long last. I have become an expert on the colour and texture of dog pooh which would not have been my first choice of things to study, but hey ho, needs must. I've been dosing her with Prokolin and her Propalin straight into her mouth and for the last five days and she's become reluctant to come back in the house after every walk - and we go out four or five times a day, so it's a nuisance. To see if I could improve things, I decided to give her both medications in a tiny 'ham sandwhich', which worked so dosing her is easier and more pleasant for both of us.

Unfortuantely she has now realised there is a freshly cooked ham in the fridge.
    Better is good enough.

Freezing here today. DS3 limping badly so I will try to get a drs appt this afternoon.

    Done HHI.

I'm going on a glove hunt. DD2 has 7 odd ones.

Laptop has also vanished. I have the power cable but a quick hunt round the older kids rooms hasn't recovered it.

DD1 has commandeered the WM. Why don't her days off happen when I am at work. She's lying on the sofa watching Holly0aks back to back oblivious to to curtains being still closed. Electric light blazing.
  • Good morning :D

i am in this week, thanks Natty for the lists :)

I have nearly finished my case study - just intro & conclusion to do. It has to be submitted by 11.55 tonight. LR/DR was hoovered last night. No dopubt it will need it again tonight. I look after an 8 YO who seems to find it impossible to keep food on a plate or in his mouth  He 'drops' more than his 3 YO sister (I say 'drops' because he has been known to throw food on the floor deliberately :mad: And yesterday he stuck sweetcorn up his nose!! Really? at 8?)

Hugs, sticks & spoons to any that want them - and lots of GWS vibes for poorlies

GI my thoughts are with you......why kids do it to us, no one knows........DD1 and DS are very much alike....when DD1 was nearly 3 she found a 2p down the back of sofa and tried to swallow it thinking was chocolate christmas money....DS stuffed a raisin up his nose the other week, and periodically he goes looking for money in people's ears or behind their ears......(this was a conjuring trick my Dad did with all the girls when they were older than DS was at the time 15 months ago when he was still with us) yet DD2 and DD3 never did anything like that - thankfully;)

lots of nasties lurking around atm, GAUG's missing in action, mine included, so lots of GWS vibes coming out of the Skint Ritz for all flyladies and flygents:)
The cold never bothered me anyway
  • Off work and feeling a bit sorry for myself. Tum not good and I'm contending with a cold too.....

But I have finished my Christmas cards and I have Andy Williams playing on YouTube - so mustn't grumble...

    The ironing is next...
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j

    Successful shop in town

    Few bits to charity shop
    Remembered the bread
    Finished the boys stockings
Finally found a knitted hoodie which should meet all DS3's requirements

Best of all my favourite prosecco is 1/3rd off so I bought 6 bottles and got staff discount off them. I'll get 6 more later in the week.

Lunch now and a bit of internet shopping. Mum going to school matinee with DS1 to watch DS3 so I'm going back shopping to another town this afternoon.

    Flying plan,
    dust LR
    S&S bathroom and shower room
HH decluttering the hotspot that is the dining room
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair
