Manic Monday- Kitchen and Dining Room
Level One
[STRIKE]Clear and wipe those surfaces, even if around things! [/STRIKE]
Level Two
Clean floors
[STRIKE]Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, wipe any spills[/STRIKE]
Wipe dining table (clean table cloth if necessary)
Level Three
[STRIKE]Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Wipe & replace small appliances such as kettle, toaster etc (wipe under too,
especially the toaster!)[/STRIKE]
Clean [STRIKE]cupboard door fronts [/STRIKE]and fronts of appliances, don't forget those kick boards
Check those washing machine, [STRIKE]tumble dryer[/STRIKE], cooker hood [STRIKE]and dishwasher filters[/STRIKE]

Extra tasks if you want to do more

• [STRIKE]Wipe window sills [/STRIKE]and clean windows in these rooms
• [STRIKE]Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps[/STRIKE]
• Clean the inside of cupboard doors
• Clean oven if you didn't do it last week
• Clean one cupboard out, what is that in there? anything out of date? Sort through it and clean it before putting everything back

Christmas Extras

• Finalise those last minute presents you have to buy..
• Post all the cards you need to post
• Wrap all the presents for family/friends
• [STRIKE]Finalise shopping orders/lists for your christmas food shop.. remember shops are

Wednesday - Master Bedrooms and Landings
Level One
Remove floordrobe, make sure all clothes are put away neatly
Level Two
[STRIKE]Strip bed linen and wash, replace with clean linen[/STRIKE]
Vacuum floors in these areas
Level Three
Vacuum mattress
[STRIKE]Make sure drawers and wardrobe drawers close, nothing hanging out! [/STRIKE]
Clean tops of drawers

Extra mission tasks, as always if you fancy an extra challenge try one or more of these

• Clean windows in these areas
• Cobweb removal upstairs, go on grab a duster and swipe them down
• Clear any one hotspot, or spend 10 minutes tackling it
• Clean a set of curtains, nets or blinds
• Clean light fittings and light switches in any room, more than one if you like
• [STRIKE]Ring someone you love, just to tell them you love them!![/STRIKE]

Christmas Extras

• [STRIKE]Stick all your cards up[/STRIKE]
• Christmas wrapping, try and get at least a few done
• Replace the batteries in your annoying singing things

Woo Hoo - I have JUST finished writing out the Christmas cards and ordering the last of the pressies online. Would have been quicker if Google wasn't having a hissy-fit and crashing all evening!!!!! I can't believe how "soft" I have become. I'm so used to typing everything these days, that my right wrist is killing me after writing all the cards, envelopes and letters. It's really surprising and shocking how the skill of writing can be so tiring. I wonder if a time will come when everything is done by fingertips from nursery age?

OH has just brought me in a lovely cup of tea, so I'm kicking back down and will go through the thread.

I am bushed. Took DS out to docs at 7pm (late surgery on mon) and had to scrape the windscreen! He has impetigo and throat infection. Cue two different antibiotics and cream too. On the plus side, he can "go on a bus with granny" tomorrow, so he is happy enough. Not unwell. Just contagious.

Bins out, ironing done (not by me ) pack up made, kids clothes laid out.

Early start for me tomorrow, so I'm off to Bedfordshire.

I never would have dreamed of this when I joined the thread a few weeks back - chuffed to bits - thanks to everyone for supporting each other we are all a bit straighter than we were before :A

DS is awake, but if I get him back off I might do a bit on the New Year ironing challenge on the cheap leccy too :money:

time for a cuppa, a lurk, then force that errant DS of mine to sleep - btw if anyone has Paul McKenna round their house atm, please send him my way, perhaps he might have more luck getting DS to sleep :rotfl:

I forgot I'd stripped the bunk beds this morning I realised when I put the 2 youngest to bed. DD2 had fallen asleep on me during Corrie and I carried her upstairs. She is now in my bed. Good thing DH is away tonight.

Have to walk the dog in the morning before paid work, go into town to post today's card-writing marathon and cook a roast dinner - will see how I get on whilst the chicken is in the oven in the afternoon.

Feeling a bit more lively (so much so that I'm awake at this godforsaken hour!) Think the AD's are kicking in, managed to do quite a bit of cleaning and sorting at the weekend, feel motivated and less short tempered too which is good (hooray for prozac).

House not too bad and I was thinking I hadn't got very far with my Crimble shopping but when i looked in my 'stash' I've done more than I thought!!

Need to fill in a budget now then I'm off to bed...got work tomorrow and picking up my new car in the afternoooooon (excited!!)

Morning All

Well I've already been awake for about an hour so I'm shattered! I think the plan for today is to get the presents wrapped for the weekend. Recycling day today so I'll have a run through the house to make sure everything's out - normally plastic bottles lying around as the dog likes playing with them. Other than that I'll see how it goes. I'll have a go at level one as I started sorting out which clothes fit me and which don't at the weekend so if I can finish that off I should be able to get everything put away.
