    Afternoon all

I did the bedrooms today even though I normally do them on Wednesdays because the weather forecast was for sun. They were exaggerating. Anyway, it all froze solid and when I checked just now it was still semi frozen so I've got it all back in and draped it round the house. Never mind, it had an airing.

    Hope everyone's OK.
  • GI my thoughts are with you......why kids do it to us, no one knows........DD1 and DS are very much alike....when DD1 was nearly 3 she found a 2p down the back of sofa and tried to swallow it thinking was chocolate christmas money....DS stuffed a raisin up his nose the other week, and periodically he goes looking for money in people's ears or behind their ears......(this was a conjuring trick my Dad did with all the girls when they were older than DS was at the time 15 months ago when he was still with us) yet DD2 and DD3 never did anything like that - thankfully;)

thanks. Mine have never done anything like that. I know the littlies have a tendancy for this type of thing, which is why we watch them ;) But should i really need to stand over an intelligent 8 year old while he eats? it's probably attention seeking :( And he certainly gets my attention! I am glad when he goes home at 5.30, TBH :o:o

We have had lunch, and I have prepared dinner for us all (spag bol) which is in the SC now. That is about it :o

HHC @ 13:30 anyone? Am going to wipe out the drawers in my bedroom so I can start to put the ironing away (when I finally get round to doing more of it :rotfl: this ironing mountain is getting out of hand!). Might also try to sort out my dresser too as there appears to have been another make-up explosion... quite why I need to have more supplies than a beautician but still look like poo most of the time I'll never know!

GI continued employment vibes heading your way.

CY take it easy, you've had a double whammy on the lurgy front. Rest and recovery vibes for you.

I've cleaned the bathroom and en suite to showroom standards as I have a man coming to sort out the broken pump.

All of downstairs hoovered, stairs and landing hoovered. Fan belt has snapped so having to do it with the hose.

I got DD1 off the sofa and got her to help me move the LR around. DH had put the tree in a ridiculous place and squashed the sofas into a corner. It is back to our usual Christmas arrangement and I am happier now.

Dr has called back. I have to take DS3 for another x-ray. I am wrestling with the idea of taking him out of school.

Forgot what time I started and did an hour instead :rotfl: The bedroom's looking marginally better... but more work after a tea break methinks. Hope everyone else is well and that poorly ones feel better soon :grouphug:
