  • checking in with my 5 minutes at 1 - empty cups taken downstairs - kettle on - WM and TD turned over - DS helped with conditioner again

cuppa made, some veggies and mayo added to cooked pasta - return to bed with lunch.

if anyone is doing a HH at 2, I will join but just for 5 minutes
The cold never bothered me anyway

Ok I know it's a daft thought but it is a nice thought.
I don't think it's daft at all; a friend of ours, Colin - actually, the chap who got Mr LW and me together - passed away far too young (58) and we often think of him sitting at a table in the Summerlands, with a pint of cider (the decent stuff, none of that chemical muck) in front of him, chatting with Dave (another friend) and Ro (Mr LW's sister). We do what we can to make the loss bearable.:o

Actually, Colin was very, very fond of his food and drink, so if he's going to return, it'll definitely be as a Labrador.

Me? After the trip to Mr T last night, I'm coming back as a packhorse!:rotfl:

I'm going to try for QHW (Quarter Hour Walkies) with Jessie now - she's got dodgy back legs, so that's all she can manage at a time.:o

    In my HHC I have

    - emptied all the bins and left the bags in the back porch until it stops raining
    - hoovered the study floor
    - dusted lounge and study
    - emptied WM, sorted what can go in TD and what can't, refilled WM (its third load, and there will be only one TD load from all of them)
    - carried Christmas decoration crates downstairs
    - set up all light bridges
    - decided to empty the Dys0n into the rubbish bag, then had to hoover up again all the bits that missed
    - printed out shopping list blank to do the big shopping plan
    - thrown out 2 old calendars (only 25 more things to fling today, but most of them will be DH's)
    - started my pasta for lunch (it will be ready as soon as I've finished this post)
    - made myself another :coffee:
    - got myself psyched up to write all the Christmas cards this afternoon

... and DH has obviously smelt my :coffee: - he's just come in from work.

    Hello? Battersea Dogs Home
Hello - can you help me; my name's $inger and I need someone to adopt me and love me and not shut me in a room full of junk.......
    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Ha! The coffee is perfect. I love condensed milk in coffee. Dog cuddles are the best. I've just had a call about the sewing machine! You're such a snitch!! :) The room of doom will be a hobby room. Repeat until it happens. Don't tell Dusty but $inger is sitting on the stairs..

It took ages to get a second hand one PP. They seem to be so popular. I need to make room in the rod. Hub dismantled a bookcase. But left it in there so I will have to nag or deal with that.
:) Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Been eating frogs and the room of Doom is out of control!

No cards written but I have bought a frozen whole lobster from Lidl so I'm sure all will be well!

Ooops sorry my HHC turned into a long winded lunch and natter with a neighbour. She popped round for a cuppa and something to eat, so now I am going to start my HHC at 3 properly. I shall be heading off at 5pm to do the weeks shopping though :(

Anyone want to join me for HHC at 3.05pm?
