Thank you everyone; you're all so kind.:A

Part of the MH side of my problems is that I get very, very stressed and upset at the slightest thing, to the point of shaking uncontrollably and even being physically sick (sorry if tmi), and I just cannot cope with that stress.
And that's not taking into account all my physical problems and constant pain! This is going to be.... interesting, methinks!

I'm off for a quick peruse of the paper before it's history!:D

    "See" you tomorrow.:o
Hi LW. Not TMI at all, you're incredibly honest. Admitting things that many of us go through but don't necessarily admit. And it's not healthy to live a facade. Don't judge how you react, our bodies take over sometimes. Now can you do 3 favours? 1. Pop the kettle on fir us we're gasping! 2. Do something you love/enjoy today eg knitting, a bacon and egg sarnie, listen to something on YouTube - I love Peter Kay and put him on while fly ladying. 3. Nag me about my hobby room! I can barely get in there and I have a second hand sewing machine ringing up social services asking to be re homed!
:) Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage
:cool2: Cherryprint: "More stuff = more stuff to tidy up!"
Less things. Less stuff. More life.

Back from GP/school run. DS2 wanted to go in on his own, I love the steps they take to being responsible, independent adults. I'll sort out the referral though.

Just having tea and toast and then I need to go out and run some errands and shop.

    Flying after lunch.

  • Good morning :D

I have been out with the dog at the crack o'sparras (as my DD1 would say!), and have warmed up & had breakfast.
Emails/bank accounts checked. I am going to pop to town to see if I can pick up any bits for DD's, DH and some last minute presents. Most of my shopping has been done online - but most of hasn't arrived! Getting a bit twitchy now! (Ordered Uggs & Converse over 3 weeks ago - apparently the parcel has been lost/stolen so they are resending!)

I also have an assignment dus on Monday that has barely been started. i may have to give art a miss agin tomorrow, although i may attend the lunch as planned :) DS has a Carol concert tomorrow night, so the weekend looks like a write off study-wise :( Panic is descending

Ok - I am off to town - wish me luck!!

Went to work yesterday and probably shouldn't have as feeling a lot worse last night and today. Not working today...........need to do some washing and the dishes, anything else is questionable.

Hope everyone else is well and hugs and spoons to those in need xx
  • DD's room is done, and I've even cleaned the windows - go me :D
I have a second hand sewing machine ringing up social services asking to be re homed!

We could give it a good home - DD has 3 sewing machines, and a further 2 promised (from each grandma) ;)
Ok - I am off to town - wish me luck!!

    Good luck

I'm going to bake a cake and some bread, and have a coffee on the hoof

  • You were up ladders? I was trembling just reading that.....

Please stay away from ladders until your flybaby has safely arrived....

thanks CY I dont do ladders outside, I am afraid of heights so climbing up on chairs and stepladders inside for cleaning and painting is my limit but that really pushes my buttons:eek::eek::eek: - and the loft is a whole pond of frogs, even though there is a proper loft ladder that pulls down I can't get more than half way up it!

btw I was only lurking last night......been in bed for all night like a good girl, no flying even though I couldn't sleep :(

my ankles re-appeared briefly this morning, but I could feel them swelling as I made breakfast and cuppa for DS and me. Put a big pot of pasta on the boil for lunch/dinner as I went on a plate hunt to load the DW and made myself scrambled eggs - my little whisk is broken so that went on a fling....but I am back in bed with my legs up.

I am going to do one "little job" every hour on the hour for 5 minutes and set a timer, then back into bed to get my legs up.....as 15 minutes making breakfast was too long.

No nursery for DS today, so he is happily snuggled with me watching his programmes, although I have put a reservation on a present at Argos. It's from "flybaby" to DS to give to DS when he comes to hospital to see his sister for the first time (first line of defence to avoid sibling rivalry!) - I was going to leave until after Xmas, but I may not get the chance if I get taken in on the quick......but if I can't get parked close to the shop I am going to struggle, the reservation lasts til tomorrow, so if the EX comes early for DS in the morning, I will only have me to worry about and can get it before the rush.

    Right-o time for a lurk before I do my 5 minutes :D
The cold never bothered me anyway

Wipe light switches, sockets (make sure they are not switched on) and banister
    Clean floors in these rooms
    Clean baths, toilets and sinks
    Wipe down tiles in bathroom

Friday PM/Sunday AM - Master Bedrooms and Landings
    Level One

Remove floordrobe, make sure all clothes are put away neatly
    Level Two
Strip bed linen and wash, replace with clean linen
    Vacuum floors in these areas
    Level Three
    Vacuum mattress
    Clean tops of drawers

    Christmas Extras

Christmas wrapping, try and get at least a few done
    Bake pies and buns!

Sort childrens presents into separate bags so they are easier for santa to sort
