  • He smokes weed around her and their children and doesn't want to stop.

Which bit of that can be "worked at"?

I'm sorry but there isn't any need to be like that, The people over here obviously don't know the details of my other thread.

That's the point. They can easily find it. You've been open about it.

    Totally agree!

Quite frankly I've got better things to do with my time than hunt through other posts that people have made ... if they want something known then put it on the thread ....

TBH I'm disgusted that you put that up - not your place to do so at all

I haven't been open over here about it though. This was to clear my debts and rant without a biased opinion I didn't realize people went looking for other posts :o

But this thread seemed to be morphing into the other one. Posters on the other thread are telling you you should leave your OH. Over here, where they aren't aware of the issue, the advice is to "work at it".

This thread reads as if you could just be narked because your OH leaves his pants on the floor, or used teabags on the worktops. Not illegal and dangerous activity around somebody who is very unwell and 3 defenceless children!!!

    Hi WTFI,

Not sure where you are in the UK but do you have a Maggies near you? They offer a lot of one to one support and guidance and have benefits experts who can investigate everything you'd be entitled to. Even some complementary therapies (which I think MacMillan can organise too).

They would be able to advise on lots of the issues you're facing; money, support in the home, childcare etc. I'm sure there are lots of people here who would willing help you build a support network so that you don't feel so alone in all of this.

I'm only a PM away. I'll send you over my mobile and if you ever want to text or natter you'll always have someone in your corner.

    KJ x

Re the illness sounds horrible but you sound like you're doing really well. On the male side..... Can't relate to that bit as I'm a bloke!!!
