What happens with paypal if your order never arrives, surely this will put you in a better position to get a refund ?0
-
Yep I'm another caught out by this :0(
I ordered on 21st November and has yet I haven't received anything. I paid by PayPal so I rang them on Friday to explain what's going on, as I haven't received my order, they said they have to give the scammers 10 days to reply to them about my missing order. Which obviously they're not going to do! I was told they have until 24th dec to reply, when they don't I'll be issued a refund.
I've told PayPal that due to the hassle everyone else is having with the arrival of their fake DVDs I won't be accepting a delivery of them! As I'd then have to start a new claim with PayPal which would involve me getting proof that the DVDs are fake...frustrating!
For those of you who have received your DVDs, I presuming you didn't have to sign for them? If that's the case I'd say tell PayPal you haven't received them as this seems to be the quickest way of getting your money back :-/
Fingers crossed I get my refund shortly after Christmas!0 -
Received a counterfeit region 1 compatible copy of Disney's Jungle Book on DVD instead of a genuine region 2 copy which I ordered. I'm another one who fell for the ".co.uk" on website address, believing I was buying from the UK and not Thailand. I emailed Woodymart about a refund but they haven't replied so I've passed my dispute onto Paypal. Paypal asked for the items URL, which i couldn't find as they've taken The Jungle Book of their website now, but when I was looking for it I found a very similar looking website to Woodymart's called "ukshoppingstore.co.uk". I think this one should be avoided too.0

That's the same as the ones I received and if you look closely at the package you will see it says "2 disc Platinum Edition" and there is only one disc inside. Emphasise with Paypal that this is clearly counterfeit, I am sure that is how I got my refund back and telephone them rather than email and this got them moving! Good Luck!0 -
The deadline for Woodymart to respond to Paypal ran out on the 20th Dec. I have still not heard from Paypal or had any money refunded. What now ?0

I got an email from PayPal asking me to send the DVD back to seller, I then phoned and told them I could not do this as sending counterfeit goods through post is illegal ( thanks quayhouse). They told me I'd have to get verification from a 3rd party that this was a fake DVD. PayPal told me to go to any retailer who sold DVDs. I tried HMV but they were really busy and assistant said he couldn't help. Then I tried the Disney Store. The assistant was really helpful, pointed out the differences between a genuine Disney DVD and the counterfeit I had, he filled out a "guest relations" form that has the company contact details on it and he wrote verified fake DVD on the form. I've faxed this off to PayPal today and hope this is enough to get a refund. I won't be surprised if this isn't good enough as PayPal don't make getting a refund easy. Even the fact that I had to fax this information to them rather than email it makes me think they're trying to put obstacles in the way so people decide not to proceed with their claim.0

You are most welcome!
I also managed to get verification from Argos and paypal said they wouold get back to me in 3 - 5 days.
I noticed the site were selling the little mermaid trilogy again so emailed disney, fact and bizrate as they were using their logo and today the site have no disney dvds for sale and do not appear to accept paypal so fingers crossed theyre out of business and cant scam anymore people!:T0 -
I have also been scammed by this company, thinking it was uk based, and if it is through paypal it would be ok to use!!!
However I ordered 3 lots of DVD'S and they did arrive a couple of weeks later but were region 1 and not the right DVDS, also realised they were illegal copies! I contacted Woodymart-no real surprise did not get any reply after a couple of emails, I decided to take out a dispute with paypal. Paypal said I could send back to seller but needed to be tracked and once seller receives paypal will refund!
To cut a long story short it would have costed twice the amount I paid to track them so rang paypal and explained...they were not interested, and eventually they closed case!
I rang Paypal this morning and told them that they had asked me to do something illegal (sending fraudulent goods through post)and that I had taken legal advice and paypal were liable to pay me as they are now aware that Woodymart and every other name they are using is a scam company.
As the case had been closed they said they would give me a one off goodwill payment of £25 I said put it in an email while I am on the phone as I don't trust anyone! To be fair she did and a couple of minutes later I received email confirming they will give me the £25 I know its not a complete refund but better than nothing.
Paypal are legally obliged to either refund all or part of your money, as they are now aware the company is illegal, so PHONE NOW and claim some money! 087073071910 -

If I were you, I would now take out a complaint against Paypal itself and put everything you have said above into the complaint. Then ring them and tell them what you have done and why.
I am glad that you have got some money back but they really should refund you the full amount as they did me.0 -
Hi thanks I have just emailed a formal complaint to PayPal asking for a full refund! I won't hold my breath though!
I just want to make people aware that woodymart has a couple of other websites one of them is ukshoppingstore.co.uk I know there are a couple of others and the way you find out is by putting search into google for little mermaid DVD and it comes up at top, same website same people, they keep changing company name BEWARE!0
