I must say though that I have made a real fuss with them emailing them and phoning to say that it is their (Paypal's) responsibility to protect their customers from scamming websites. So make a nuisance of yourselves!
Did you have to provide independant documentation for them to agree to your refund? They are still refusing to refund me even though i have sent in pictures of what i received and what it should look like seems paypal are picking and choosing what they ask for i am tearing my hair out i am £48 down if i go to my credit card for a chargeback will it affect my paypal account does anyone know?0 -
No, I did not have to provide anything! I just said (by phone)I had reason to believe the DVDs were counterfeit and that I was not prepared to send the DVDs back as it was illegal to send counterfeit product through the post. I also said that Paypal should protect their clients from scamming websites. I also said I was not the only person to be affected by this and there were loads of people on the MSE forum site also affected0

The money was in my Paypal account within an hour of the email from Paypal saying I had a full refund and I transferred it to my bank account straight away.0 -
I think it is better to speak to them on the phone, I got nothing sensible out of them going down the email route. Good luck, it was your original answer in the first place that helped me get my refund!0

Thats fab and don't blame you i would move it out of there straight away too!
I will give them a call again tomorrow after work and see if i get someone who will see some sense.

Update:
Called paypal again and sadi they are being unreasonable as i cant get anyone to appraise these as they are too busy serving customers who are actually buying from them but the still insist on me getting a 3rd party to say they are fake otherwise i will lose my money!!! I only have unti 21st dec.
Has anyone had any luck in getting this evidence?:mad:0 -

I was only asking for the phone number, not the Gettysburg address.0
