Woodymart.co.uk - has anyone ever used?

Has anyone ever ordered from woodymart.co.uk?

They have a couple of dvd's that I want at a decent price but I haven't heard of them before so not sure whether to buy from there!

Hi Beth i have ordered 2 DVDS and been emailing them everday as still not received them. I have now esculated my order as i luckily paid via paypal. Apparently they are based in Thailand i think i may have lost my money. There a few websites i think they run offg as they all look the same so becareful xx

Thanks for your response, I did wonder as couldn't find any kind of contact details on their website. Sorry you haven't recieved your order though, hopefully you will be able to get your money back

I placed an order for 4 DVD'son 29th Nov & expected my order to be dispatched next day as items were in stock. I used the contact form on the web page to requesting info but did not receive a reply. I then logged into the web page & added a note to my order asking when I would receive my order & a message was then posted on 2/12 advising it had been shipped via international airmail & could take 1-2 weeks however it could take slightly longer! As the webpage was woodymart.co.uk I thought it was UK based and would be next day delivery when items were in stock but this is not the case. To date 8/12 I have not received my order but will post if it shows up. Not hopeful!!

I placed an order with these guys a fortnight ago, and i recieved my two disney DVDs from thailand the other day.

£20 down the tubes as far as im concerned. these two dvds are never proper disney dvds..

the co.uk part of any website is important to me, regarding authenticity..
it appears i have been silly in this case..

if only this 1st post was made a fortnight ago. id have saved myself some money

I saw the site advertised at in the sponsored ad section of google and added several dvd's to my basket. However, I then decided to double check them as I had a feeling something was amiss and found they weren't registered here which made me decide to shop elsewhere. Sounds like I got off lightly!

I ordered the Jungle Book DVD, and to be honest I didnt think too much of it, until it arrived!
I could tell straight away, I was gutted! It arrived from Thailand, the celophane on it was thicker, the cover was blotchy ( so you can tell it was printed) the case was clear and the disc inside had been printed on. The most obvious was the fact that the disc was blue on the underneath.
I sent them an email asking to contact me as I would like my money back, no response, so I have started a dispute with PayPal.
The last thing I found strange was the PayPal name is WoodyMart but on the envelope on the package it stated Kiddy Place?!
I would warn everyone not too risk it by shopping from there!

Orderd my dvds on 24 november. Stil waitin now. Keep emailing and messaging them and got no reply. Not happy!

I wished that i had seen this forum thread before i ordered. I ordered a little mermaid trilogy dvd and got sent just a little mermaid platinum edition which is a region 3 so unplayable in the uk.

I have sent 3 emails twice from there website and once via my hotmail account just in case, still no reply. As another person on this forum said that they had paid via paypal looks like we'll be doing the same.

I wish i had seen these threads too! i did do a google search before i ordered DVD's but all i could find about them was on scam advisor which said site was safe to use??!! i was also informed my DvD's would arrive the next day(i ordered last mon) nothing has arrived as yet, i too have tried emailing with no response and i couldnt even get on to their website today??!! After reading these threads i am straight away going to escalate this with paypal. So glad people are starting to post about this phoney website!

I placed an order a couple of weeks ago for a few DVDs, and haven't received anything. Sent them a message yesterday... No reply, and today the site is off line seemingly disappeared.

Escalated a Paypal dispute, but not sure what they can do about it.

BEWARE THOUGH... You will see that smartbuyshop.co.uk looks very very very much like Woodymart did, and is, I suspect, the same scammers,

So DON'T BUY FROM SMARTBUYSHOP.CO.UK either ... Get the word out there!!
