I also had suspicions but decided to trust it as was using PayPal. I did actually receive something similar to what i ordered but it was a region 3 DVD and the first Disney Little Mermaid film and not the trilogy as advertised.
I ordered the day before this thread started! Thanks for starting it, maybe others will be saved from repeating our mistakes.:T
I have had a claim agreed by Paypal on the basis that i send it back tracked and am hoping that I can do this more cheaply than the other poster found as otherwise it makes a mockery of the whole claim process.
Sort yourselves out Paypal and check the credentials of your sellers before exposing us to these bandits! :mad:0 -
Hi,
I also ordered from these scammers, i received what appeared to be little mermaid 1 but when i opened it there were 3 badly printed discs inside which nearly broke my dvd player as it struggled to read them. I was also told by paypal to return them but i politely pointed out the return address is not the same as the one it states on the package they sent, also the address is for a meat factory so i doubt they would know what to do with them!
I politely pointed this out to paypal and als o the fact that it is a criminal offence to send counterfeit goods through the post, the then asked me to get the items verified independantly and they would look at the case again, i went online and showed clear images of what it should have looked like and also what i had been sent but they have now said that they have until 8th jan to decide as it is now with a case handler?? I feel its disgusting as they know that this site is scamming people using them to benefit from the funds and seem to be dragging their heels!:mad:0 -

On Sunday 9th December I emailed Woodymart twice via their website and then again on Monday replying to an earlier email from them. I then saw this thread so contacted Paypal who emailed me this morning giving me the address to return the dvds and asking me to return them using a trace and track service and then they would refund me. The Royal Mail do not offer this service to Thailand, which is where this company come from and when I looked into it I found other courier services would charge £30+ so that's a no go as the refund would be £19.48! I have emailed Paypal again but I fear that my money has gone down the drain. I will stick to Amazon in the future!
Not having much luck with Paypal as they now are asking for a letter from Royal Mail stating that they do not do track and trace although they admitted they were aware that this was true:mad: I have also noticed that the website is up and running again so I urge everyone to keep up their emails etc to Paypal.0 -

Just telephoned Paypal and voiced my dismay that the website was up and running again tonight and that my goods are counterfeit too. That seemed to work as the agent straight away said she would suspend the site and will give me a full refund within 10 minutes! We will see! Power to the people!! So everyone RING Paypal!0 -

Just had this email from Paypal:
As promised, i was about to close case on your favour. But as one of our
case closing team is already closed at 6.30, i could not complete the case.
the first thing i will do tomorrow when i login (12.30) , is i will resolve
your case, process a full refund and send you an email confirmation. Thats
a guarantee.
Fingers crossed!!0 -
I'm absolutely gutted. After waiting 3 weeks my DVDs have come and they are definitely fakes. I paid by debit card though. Does anyone know if I can do anything??0

PayPal have to refund you. It's their legal obligation. My. DVD has still not arrived after nearly a month. I filed a case with Paypal at the begining of the week but I haven't heard anything from them.0

I have been waiting for my junglebook dvd from woodymart since the 4th of December . I am not holding out much hope now after seeing these posts. I have also raised a claim with pay pal. I have just recently done a search for the junglebook dvd and the site ukshoppingstore.co.uk came up as one of the top google search sites, but it bears a very similar design to the woodymart site ( i.e identical) so would strongly advise not buying from that website also.0

Mmmm....I would have thought Google are part responsible for not vetting them.0

I have just received an email from Paypal saying that my dispute has been resolved and I will receive a full refund to my account within the next five days. I must say though that I have made a real fuss with them emailing them and phoning to say that it is their (Paypal's) responsibility to protect their customers from scamming websites. So make a nuisance of yourselves!0
