I like the idea of the random supermarket coupon giving! May well do that when I find money off vouchers that I won't use.
I also like how nice everyone is on DFW, I always get such a shock when I see people on the other boards being so judgemental. My first instinct is never to say something really mean, if I can't come up with anything nice or constructive to say I try to just not bother saying anything!
ETA: I'm sad because my work has cleary decided that wherever the rolleyes smily comes from is A Bad Place and all I can see are little boxes with an x in.Will someone give me a rolly eyes for that?!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

How weird, I could see the other ones but this one my work has blocked! (And I clearly have time to waste today to be posting about this)

Glad that I have a fellow time-waster
We get half day here today as well, so on definite wind down nowDebt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -
So jealous of you getting a half day Beccie! I'm on a big time wind down too, although time is going so slowly I fear this day will never end!
Thanks for the rolly eyes... still can't see 'em, but it's nice to know they're out there for me!
Oh I forgot to say before, but I was so impressed/tickled/scared that your Google image search brought up pictures of Ryder Cinny! He was such a cute little fluff monster!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
And now look at him, he's a monster!
Glad you're all enjoying having Roly backMerry Eastermas!
Love the idea of random acts of kindness. I do things like give vouchers back along the queue, help old people count change, take trolleys back for people at the supermarket (click mine into theirs first, I'm not some kind of £1 fiend!) but I didn't really think of them as giving? But if they count and make me look less selfish then I'm inI don't think I can count my grandparents though, that's family and anyone else would do the same!
Ryder was well and truly ready for sleep when I came to work! He's been following me around all morning, bless his heart. He's still such a baby still!
I'm in holiday mode too, although I'm working tomorrow and (turns out) Saturday toounimpressed.

You would be surprised but no not everyone would do the same. I've worked in health and social care for nearly 10 years and you'd be surprised how some people treat their families
Of course those things are giving. Look at it from the other side. How would you feel if someone did those things to you? Someone gave you a voucher for something you were buying? Helped you count your money when your arthritic (or gloved) fingers means you can't do it yourself? I bet you'd be very grateful.Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
I don't think many people do AS MUCH for their grandparents as you though. Also excellent points by Starnac about how you'd feel if someone did the same for you! We should live life thinking along those lines and everyone would be nice to each other all the time!
I can't believe it's not even two o'clock yet - and it's not even actually a Friday so I should be working til 5 but sod that! So annoyed I said I'd go running with my aunty tonight, really just want to batten down the hatches and go to bed!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
If you put it that way, maybe I'm a nicer person than I thought! The only thing that stuck with me from Sunday School was "do unto others.. yaddayadda" so I try my best!
Thanks Tete, I love my Grandparents so I don't really think about it but I suppose I do try my hardest by them!
Got paid from one job, so £60 has gone to bills, £123 into the MM (over £500 now and at £1500 in the "end of days" savings!) Left myself with some blow money so the floor is open to doing something over the bank holiday£50 to be exact!
Should get paid roughly £150 again tomorrow, so I'm taking £20 out for fuel, and splitting the rest 50/50 into savings and a payment off the smallest loan. Hoping by next months payday they'll be able to give me some kind of hint towards what I'll be paid, but it's their first month doing "proper" wages and I guess it'll be a nice surprise in the morning! Unless it's less than I'm expecting because I've been taxed like someone who says friends like "fraaands" and thinks that Waitrose is down market, then I'll be kind of annoyed
Have a nice evening everyone! 10 minutes and I'm offski!0
