Shhh.... I don't want my blue sky and fluffy white clouds hearing that it's still snowing in other parts of the country!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

Blizzards here today! Cinny I love your hair and make up!!!!0

Thanks everyone! Makes me feel a little better, it shouldn't be so bright
Everyone at work seems to like it, OH is still a bit bitter I'm not "blonde" anymore.
When we meet up will you please teach me how to do my eyebrows and eyeliner like yours?!
No pressure for my make up to look nice on le day then! My eyebrows are actually pretty shady, it's what I get for going through a cyber-goth phase. It's all magic and benefit
Can't believe it's still snowing in places! We've had three lovely days - touch wood - nice and sunny just a bit windy
It's sad when places don't have green grocers! My old town doesn't, it has an independent butchers/bakers that has been there forever. My Great Gran used to work there when she was younger, I don't know how they manage it but it's always busy. Probably because the tea cakes are delish! Whenever my Sister's OH comes over he always takes a bag of loot from there for his plane ride home.
But our green grocers is on the verge of closing down as everyone is going to the supermarket (guilty) They used to be really expensive, but keep putting signs out for cheap things and with it being local produce it's a domino effect, right? Same with the butchers too I guess. Less chance of horse meat too! Wahey!
OH is working the National over the weekend, it's £50 for a days work on the floor so will tide him over for the rest of the month and mean I don't have to sub him for another week at least
Got paid too, so I sent the rent on it's merry way, bobbled the savings account up to £1550 and have left the rest be so I can pay for Little cars new tire, which should be getting fitted today (he so swanky!) and put a bit of petrol in. Have around £15 in my purse, and will be getting £40 from my other jobs over the weekend. So I'll be using this instead of letting my debit card make kissy faces with the card machines over the weekend!
Does anyone have any plans for the weekend? I'm not working tomorrow until the early afternoon, around 1ish. So I'll be spending the morning with Ryder and cleaning, hope the weather stays nice as I'll be able to take him to the quarry which he loves (it's also the site of the Christmas Day Disaster, when my Brother's Girlfriends dog ran straight over the edge, and while everyone was in a panic running down the quarry Ryder was running around, having the time of his life in a "I can't believe the humans are running with me! This is amazing! Where are we going? Did you see that squirrel?! Should I bite your hand?!" way) and tire him out. We're at the inlaws for Sunday dinner too, so that should be nice0 -
Oooh, and to be a total tease, OH and I have some amazing plans for when we're debt free :j (after a cheeky winter sun holiday gets booked!)
It's motivating me more than ever to get our shiznit together, but it'll be a marker of our DFD to share the news
(and before Dinah gets excited, it's not a little Cinny!)0 -
Your weekend with Ryder sounds fun! Hope the disaster is not replicated!
I'm excited to hear about your exciting plans! If you're going to Wrestlemania I'll be most jealous!
Not much planned for me this weekend, will be going to see my brother's teeny tiny baby tomorrow morning so OH can meet him and will try to convince the folks to take us out for a bite to eat.Other than that there's not much on the cards.

Jake is adorable, Birdie
You must be one proud Auntie!
Noo, it's not as exciting as Wrestlemania! I think, considering how up and down Vince is with things - pushing this, not pushing that - while the experience would be amazing, I wouldn't dare pay all that money to go. It sounds horrible, but the first year he's not the ruling hand anymore we'll probably goI get so tired of the WWE product sometimes, not that I'll stop watching it, I just wish there were more indie circuits I could get into. First world problems, ehy? Planning on finding a bar that plays it to go too next year
Had a good weekend, on the back of bloody Super Scrimpers £50 challenge segments I decided to rehaul our living room - paint and rearrange it on the grand total of £0 (take that Mrs Stupidorangehat) So I painted over the "statement" (it wasn't really a statement) wallpaper on the chimney breast that's been there since we moved in, and not one bit of furniture or picture is in the same place. Plus it was a good excuse to have the Disney movie channel on in the background. So it now looks like this!
Today's my first grocery day using the local green grocers, butchers and bakery. OH isn't convinced it'll be cheaper, but even if it's the same amount that's fine. Going straight from work, I'm oddly excited
Anyhow. Have £60 in the bank (still need to put some petrol in Little Car, it's getting quite desperate now) and £40 in my purse. Got my wheel changed but put it through the company because I forgot to take my purse with me, so that'll be taken out my wages at the end of the month.
Sent OH £50 from his "wage switch" money for petrol as he's all over the shop this week. Can't believe this month is finally here, seems like two seconds ago I was setting this diary up with a big part of it being "we need to save XX amount"
And for a little Ryder story, I dropped my car off at the garage on Friday and decided to walk up to my Grandparent's house with Ryder, rather than wait around and be late to dinner with them, or have my Grandad come pick me up. My Grandparents live in a posh village; boutique shops, range rovers that have never seen a field, over priced wine bars, girls with pony hair etc. So I'm walking Ryder up, already looking a bit of a mess all bundled up because it was cold when I left the house first thing, my bag filled with junk (toys for Ryder at my Grandparents, spare lead because of reasons, post, my stupid note pads..) and just as I'm right outside this really over priced furniture shop, Ryder stop, drops and does the biggest smelliest number 2 known to humanity. Thankfully I'm a crazy dog lady now and everything I own comes with doggy do bags. But the looks I got, you'd have thought I'd done it myself. Sure he'd been saving it up all morning, just knowing the time would come to show me up.
I did have a woman stop me, all excited to see Ryder, asking if he was a Malamute pretty soon after the poop incident. That's what his Papa was, but no one has ever actually asked if Ryder was before. Everyone always thinks he's a husky x GSD.
Finally over the tiredness of yesterday, came into work for 5 hours and I was so brain dead it wasn't even funny. But it saved me a holiday day, that's the main point! Lots of tea and water today, and I'll be fine0 -

Ryder is such a sweetheart. Children also wait for the best time before letting rip with something that will majorly embarrass you!
