Morning world! It's a definite sugary tea, monster coffee kind of morning today :coffee:
Had a lovely weekend but I don't feel much rested for it, if that makes sense? Yesterday I didn't really do much of anything, lots of laundry, cleaning and cooking with some walks thrown in, but it was tiring! We were snuggled up on the sofa watching finally Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close (OH hated it but I was an emotional mess, anything to do with 9/11 and children gets me right in the feels) with a cuppa and some snazzy biscuits by the end of it. That's the marker of a good weekend!
Working on my goals for April, finally getting our savings up to £2,000 so we can start killing debt is the big one. I'm tempted to do some kind of grocery challenge, but we're already running that as close as we can so I don't know what good putting a figure on it would do?
I'm hoping I'll get paid on Thursday from both my jobs. Banking on having around £200 to put in the MM fund last minute, will mean we're £370 above our savings at the start of the month instead of the pathetic sounding £170 we're at now after the loan repayment came out! I am feeling a little plergh by it (keep on thinking of the water bill that comes out at the start of next month too, it's something we've saved for as part of the 2k but still, it's another thing to bring the total down). Must stay positive! There's still 6 days left in the month for some money madness to happen
For today:
Spend:
Aiming for a NSD
Save:
Round my CA down so 41p into the MM fund.
Rounded the VCP up to £10 and paid this into the "End of World" MM account.
Give:
Gave my bosses at Job No 2 the beer, or whatever it was I bought them :A Their first reaction was "aren't you working for us anymore?!" charmed!
Working till 12:30 then I get a 2 and a half hour break before I'm in for Job No 2 :j Lots of walking, cleaning and face stuffing to get on with0 -
Despite it feeling like my face was going to fall off I had a great walk with Ryder. There's all green shoots firing up from under the snow, and there were gorgeous bursts of sunshine every now and then. I don't mean to come off as an earth child but it really cheered me up!
Also chucked the last few snowballs for Ryder as I figure the snow will just freeze to blocks overnight. It's cute really, he doesn't eat the snow from the ground but if I pick some up he snaffles it in seconds!
Managed to get another load of washing done, cleaned the living room top to bottom and tidied the kitchen.
Bought my new computer for work too - whoop! Went through quidco so got myself some cheeky "free" cashback too. Should be be moving faster than light in a week or two, which is great as my computer blew up this morning
3 more hours at work and then it's home for a cuppa and bedtime. What a way to spend my last day as a 21 year old. As of tomorrow I'm an official adult with no "21" excuses *gulp*
Starting my 22nd year (or is it 23rd?!) as excitingly as ever, super early morning walk with a crazed dog and an even more crazed American yapping in my ear. Will pop to the corner shop on my way into work to get cake, or something
Hope anyone reading this has a good night!0 -

Thank you, Beccie and Birdie!! (Off to read about your travel plans with my cuppa in a moment, Bec!
)
Having a rather lovely birthday so far, everyone at work (bar one boss who got me chocolates and a tattoo magazine, he knows me so well!) has completely forgotten so I'm glad I brought my own cake in!
OH surprised me with a present - the tish tash bedding I wanted (like this) he kept the story up of not getting me anything until I found it under my dressing table this morning, then claimed it was from "Father Birthday". I knew there was a reason why I loved that boy!
Off to the city this afternoon, for namely food shopping but as it's my birthday - I'm off to go wild and get a new duvet with my Argos giftcardand some dishwasher safe cutlery. This thug life gets tiring, you know.
My NSD didn't really work yesterday, I spent £3 on cake after work, and put £49 on the gas card. So, for today:
Spend:
Argos giftcard - although the duvet and cutlery come to under what I was told was on it.
Food shopping - £40 budget (£45 pre-voucher)
Save:
Sent £25 into the monthly bills account to cover the last big TV license payment - goes to £12.50 next month :j
Put £30 into the MM account so it's at a round £1400
Give:
Lousy good for nothin' colleagues some majestic cake
Hope everyone has a nice day!0 -

Exactly, Shrimpy!!
What's really sad is I'm super excited to get the new duvet bought later on, so I can get the bedding changedIt's 10:30 on my birthday and I'm looking forward to bedtime
I have that "hello hello" cushion too, I'm going to just look mental with my tish tash tights. Like I've already said, I'm just waiting for the tash craze to grow out into a full blown beard craze. Then I'll be happy. Beards.. EVERYWHERE!
ETA: Paid £2 off the small loan, after taking a bit of inspiration from Beccie! :j0
