I take back what I said about RND, a bunch of kids from the creche just came knocking dressed as superheroes and Disney princesses. How could anyone say no to that?!
Maybe the quiz will be a lateral thinking type thing that's harder to google? But yeah, I think that's unlikely to be possible!
I am also dragging OH to Margaret Mitchell house so I can pretend to be Scarlett O'Hara, following on from our WBD conversations. I don't think OH really understands what he's letting himself in for!Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0 -
He has the Cinny stamp of approval!
Did you happen to see How I Met Your Mother last night? OH has something of a man-crush on Marshall, which is worrying. My Sister will be in Huntington Beach, CAJust my luck she picks a part of America I don't have any interest in visiting if it wasn't for her
I don't know if it'd be cheaper to get a stop over flight to Nashville, then go to CA then home. Or go to CA, Nashville, CA, Home? )
For us it was cheaper to get return flights to Miami, then fly to Nashville from there and drive back down (in theory). But that is all in the east so not sure if it would be the same. I have to confess, my US geography was pretty non-existent until a few weeks ago!Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0 -
One of our friends is just like Marshall from HIMYM (he's even part giant!)
Makes me laugh a lot when I watch it as I can just see my friend doing to same daft stuff!
Ohh Margaret Mitchell house! You'll have to swish about calling your OH Rhett in a southern accent!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

YES! I was going to leave a HIMYM link but I thought, do I really want to come off like an ever bigger dork? Someone said that OH and I are like Marshall and Lily, but I just think they meant we've been together forever. In reality we're kind of gross and more like Becky and Steve from Him & Her. Attractive
Sounds like a lovely weekend *le sigh* my problem with going to pretty places is I come home thinking we should be living like them, and why doesn't OH wear a suit on a daily basis?
My work isn't doing anything for RND either, but I'm all geared up for tonight with my Sister. My PJs are at the ready, although I am thinking "I could just go across in them.." until I remembered I need to go to the petrol station on the way home.. I don't think I'm at the level of lazy of going there in my PJs? Plus it'd be pretty cold..0 -
I have been to McDonalds Drive Thru in my PJs
I was a passenger but I don't think that makes it better. It was a long time ago and I may have drunk too much wine the night before, the shame!
OH used to insist that HIMYM (handy acronym!) wasn't funny at all (I know) then one day the penny dropped. I can imagine you as a bit of a Lily IRL actually! Kind of cute and sassy. Him and Her makes me feel a bit queasy though when they do stuff like drink cold soup out of tins...!Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0 -
Ahh Cinny! I've just caught up properly and I'm SO chuffed with all your news!
Sounds like you have everything sussed, it's awesome!

Hello Stranger!! Felt like you'd dropped off the face of the earth once you got home, Zig! Looking forward to you starting your new diary, no doubt you've got a thousand things to update us all on
Any plans for your birthday??
And Hi Amy! I read through your diary the other day actually, on my self imposed coffee break. Best of luck to you!
Shrimpy, my US geography is still pretty none exsistent. All I know is where I want to go is a days drive from my Sister, and possibly east of her
Thanks though, it's nice to know what image I put out there! I'd love to be awesome like Lily, but I probably am more on the gross factor of Becky. We've never done cold soup, but we did have a moment of eating pot noodles with a sausage roll when we were decorating and had no forks or proper means of cooking
Are you up to anything this weekend, Birdie?
Slumming it while I wait to get ready for work. Should be home by about 2:30, so I'm going to take Ryder on a mini hike and hope OH's cleaned his pots away from last night by the time I'm home and ready to switch off for the rest of the weekend!Need to stop by somewhere to buy Ryder some food, and put some gas on the card, but other than that I'm hoping for zero spends.

Hey Birdie! Gonna start my diary any minute! Prepare for some thrilling reading..
Ahh Cinny tell me about itI thought as I wasn't coming home with a job I'd have all this free time. I was so wrong. I've not stopped! I only managed to see my best friends Thursday night and I've been home like two weeks. So frustrating. I'll bore you with all the details in my diary once I set it up.
No plans for my birthday as yet as I'm el skinto. Thinking a family meal at the weekend and another one on my actual birthday. Not even going out drinking! How about your good self?
