I like the idea of using the aluminium thin insultation you can get and then putting it inbetween the fabric so its not seen?
I'm desperate to get the house warmer, our house gets cold as soon as the heating turns off , I've got max insultation and cavity wall but it leaks out of the house. I spend £140 a month and really can't spend anymore.
Thank you so much :j
Actually, I was very grateful for the question as the newer posts weren't there when I first read the thread. I like the idea of using emergency blankets too and will look on Amazon for them, I think. Is that what you mean by the aluminium thin stuff? I want my blinds and curtains to be washable and look good, so may sacrifice some warmth. On the other hand, I think I will also make some pelmets which I had not realised can contribute to stopping cold air getting into the room.0 -

So, its decision time about Savvybuyer. Is he..
1. A complete nutjob who should be locked up asap?
2. A lovely accountant type chap who pays attention to every minute detail, a bit like AAU?
3. A bit of a recluse who doesn't know when to stop talking about something?
4. A very intelligent AE out to have a bit of fun and see if he can ruffle a few feathers?
5. None of the above, just a normal member of the elite, just like you and me?
The choice is yours, which of the above 5 categories does Savvy fit into in your opinion?
Definitely no 1.
No, on second thoughts, all six of them (as someone said, the invisible six).
I think this forum is very lucky in welcoming a bit of a genius to post such detailed information to it. You’re right: my posts are often long. They are there to be skipped over at first if necessary, but then repay careful reading later on (to everyone’s greater benefit). They may be on a different level to many people, for reasons are totally oblivious to me, but they often reach high levels of sophisticated shopping that others scratch or wish they could strive to. In this way I rather like “suffering” my Asperger syndrome, and being somewhere on the spectrum of highly intelligent ability. The psychological teams have already been and gone and I’m doing extremely well.
I have, to my knowledge, found the glitch in the APG on gift sets that currently gives the best return and I challenge anyone to find a better one and beat me (although it’ll be a bit of cheating if you’re also on the high functioning autism spectrum!). I suspect most people will think this post very brave, but it only comes naturally to me. Thank you and back to savvy shopping soon.
Told you he/she was a good glitcher in the making:D Just needs a bit of refining and patience:cool:Awaiting a new sig0 -
Good Evening,
Been lurking for a while and trying to get my head around how this all works. I think I've got the gist now.
I want to get some Baxters soup from Asda but I've been unable to find the 50p off vouchers. Could anyone possibly send me a link to the voucher?
Thanks.
I received some kind of pop up window off someone for the Baxters Soup coupon. It didn't work when I clicked it but thanks whoever you were.0
