Thanks for that post of pic. Sorry must of missed it but remembered it from the cleaning glitch as this was a trigger in the early days! Not that I need any porridge :T but for 55p it went in the food bank along with most of the fillers!
I'm getting fat on chocolate and the donations are getting bigger every week from my sada :T
I might out some mt in there so someone will have a nice chrsitmas gift!0 -

Here's a whole thread about them! Basically they seem to be insulated Roman blinds -- at least, that is what I am going to make. I had a lot of work done on the house, err, over a year ago now (!) and there are several windows without blinds and some curtains which need re-making. It can get more sophisticate than that, if you read the thread, but I was just going to line the blinds/curtains with an old mattress protector and an old-fashioned quilted bedspread thing which I got from a charity shop. If this sleeping bag is not too fat, it might be better. I gather you've got to check that the filling doesn't clump with the effect of gravity.
Thank you. I'll have a read later.0 -
Grrrrr I'm cross.
I found a beef top rump this evening and it went through at full not 1/2 price as stated on SEL. CS was adament that it wasn't one of the 1/2 price pieces, despite me getting one of the other pieces from the shelf (all the rest btw had the half price per kg printed on their label whereas mine had the full price per kg). I pointed out it was the same cut of meat and showed her how the others had the reduced ppkg sticker and mine didn't. CS was still adament that my piece was not included in the offer. I asked why and she said it "just wasn't" and that she could exchange mine for one of the others in the offer.
The store was very very quiet, more staff than customers, so I made my excuses and got a refund on my piece and left as I could see I wasn't going to get anywhere with her without causing a massive scene and drawing attention to myself.
Sometimes you win and sometimes you loose, but her attitude of 'I'm right, you're wrong' has really annoyed me. I've sent an email via the tesco website and hope I get a decent response. Like it would be remotely feasible that my one piece of beef out of the whole shelf had a different price to the others and that it isn't in the offer. Grrrrr again!0 -

The choice is yours, which of the above 5 categories does Savvy fit into in your opinion?
Definitely no 1.
No, on second thoughts, all six of them (as someone said, the invisible six).
I think this forum is very lucky in welcoming a bit of a genius to post such detailed information to it. You’re right: my posts are often long. They are there to be skipped over at first if necessary, but then repay careful reading later on (to everyone’s greater benefit). They may be on a different level to many people, for reasons are totally oblivious to me, but they often reach high levels of sophisticated shopping that others scratch or wish they could strive to. In this way I rather like “suffering” my Asperger syndrome, and being somewhere on the spectrum of highly intelligent ability. The psychological teams have already been and gone and I’m doing extremely well.
I have, to my knowledge, found the glitch in the APG on gift sets that currently gives the best return and I challenge anyone to find a better one and beat me (although it’ll be a bit of cheating if you’re also on the high functioning autism spectrum!). I suspect most people will think this post very brave, but it only comes naturally to me. Thank you and back to savvy shopping soon.0 -
My apologies; I'm struggling with text size again and will correct it for you as soon as possible.0
