Strange as the SH one that everyone else have been getting is £8.98.....are there different types/versions maybe that's the problem.
They are £8.98 in asda and £9.15 in Tesco0 -
Just to join in on the date thing. My first DD was due on the 18/10/10, but she came on the 25th, which is the same day as my sister 20 years apart. My 2nd DD was due on the 10/10/10, but waited until the 12th, good job she didn't wait until the 25th or they would have the same b'day 10 years apart.0

Grrrrr I'm cross.
I found a beef top rump this evening and it went through at full not 1/2 price as stated on SEL. CS was adament that it wasn't one of the 1/2 price pieces, despite me getting one of the other pieces from the shelf (all the rest btw had the half price per kg printed on their label whereas mine had the full price per kg). I pointed out it was the same cut of meat and showed her how the others had the reduced ppkg sticker and mine didn't. CS was still adament that my piece was not included in the offer. I asked why and she said it "just wasn't" and that she could exchange mine for one of the others in the offer.
The store was very very quiet, more staff than customers, so I made my excuses and got a refund on my piece and left as I could see I wasn't going to get anywhere with her without causing a massive scene and drawing attention to myself.
Sometimes you win and sometimes you loose, but her attitude of 'I'm right, you're wrong' has really annoyed me. I've sent an email via the tesco website and hope I get a decent response. Like it would be remotely feasible that my one piece of beef out of the whole shelf had a different price to the others and that it isn't in the offer. Grrrrr again!
Could have been from a different cow!
:rotfl:I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left!0 -

Hi
Not caught up yet.
For NI Crew i did make a wee trip to K'Gony tonight.
No window cleaners, but there was lots of beef joint without half price stickers.
I did have a bit of a problem using APG for £11.xx. She did take it eventually but wasnt happy, you would think that I was taking the money out of her purse!!!!! I did chance my arm with an A £5 off £40 but she wouldnt take it oh well.
She was as nice as pie before the APG came out, then a different story!!!
Hope some gets the beef.0 -

. I tested out the Finest 18 pack Party Selection, half price at £3, bought 2 packs but the voucher wouldn't scan. Did them in a separate shop to check if it would work,it didn't. Sorry guys
My nan always used to say one good turn deserves another, and I've always gone through life remembering this and tried where possible to help people.
When in my extra store tonight, I spotted 2 customers who had a bunch of flowers in their trollies. I gave them both one of my £2 off £10 on flowers from the 'It's the little things that help' booklets as I wasn't going to use them, thanks again to logie. Both people very pleased, I was also pleased I'd helped someone out.
Now this is where my good turn repaid me.
Got a few nice woopsies on fruit and veg. Not sure if it's been reported yet, there are 25 extra clubcard points when you buy 2 organic salad products. I got the Organic Cherry Tomatoes in the little cardboard tray and also some Organic Dolce Rosso Red Peppers. Can't miss them as they have stickers on the packaging. Both reduced to 18p each so a bargain.
Thanks so much to squigs for the nod re the finest beef joints :T - I got some! Went straight to cust services, was initially told that the half price per kg was only on the stickered ones. I thought not that old chestnut and asked if they would call a manager. After waiting ages for the butchery manager to come to the desk, DTD given no problem.
I finally got to utter the words, "are you a friend of Martin's" to a lady who was getting DTD on her beef joints too. I kid you not, I had to stop myself from laughing when she said she's on the Elite thread too. I said, "I'm hampydoodums". I almost felt famous when she recognised my name :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:.
I love this thread, and I love you guys too :smileyhea:love::smileyhea
You had me smiling, what a happy person you are.:)0 -
