The choice is yours, which of the above 5 categories does Savvy fit into in your opinion?

Definitely no 1.
No, on second thoughts, all six of them (as someone said, the invisible six).
I think this forum is very lucky in welcoming a bit of a genius to post such detailed information to it. You’re right: my posts are often long. They are there to be skipped over at first if necessary, but then repay careful reading later on (to everyone’s greater benefit). They may be on a different level to many people, for reasons are totally oblivious to me, but they often reach high levels of sophisticated shopping that others scratch or wish they could strive to. In this way I rather like “suffering” my Asperger syndrome, and being somewhere on the spectrum of highly intelligent ability. The psychological teams have already been and gone and I’m doing extremely well.
I have, to my knowledge, found the glitch in the APG on gift sets that currently gives the best return and I challenge anyone to find a better one and beat me (although it’ll be a bit of cheating if you’re also on the high functioning autism spectrum!). I suspect most people will think this post very brave (and also ineptly misguided), but I like the controversy and it only comes naturally to me. Thank you and back to savvy shopping soon.

Hi Savs

I wondered where you were.

I think you will be a great benefit to the thread.......you know you are so precise and exact I think you would be good a doing two lists of clever cheap fillers that everybody would use - one list sada and one tosco. You have the sort of mind that could be very good at that. I like the way you work:)

Use more paragraphs in your posts and we will be able to benefit:A

Thanks so much to squigs for the nod re the finest beef joints :T - I got some! Went straight to cust services, was initially told that the half price per kg was only on the stickered ones. I thought not that old chestnut and asked if they would call a manager. After waiting ages for the butchery manager to come to the desk, DTD given no problem.

I finally got to utter the words, "are you a friend of Martin's" to a lady who was getting DTD on her beef joints too. I kid you not, I had to stop myself from laughing when she said she's on the Elite thread too. I said, "I'm hampydoodums". I almost felt famous when she recognised my name :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:.
I love this thread, and I love you guys too :smileyhea:love::smileyhea

Just finished feeding the baby & had to pop on before bed to say hi - lovely to meet you:wave:

If you felt famous with me just recognising your name you'd have seriously LOLd if you'd seen me meet up with hubby outside afterwards (he was skulking outside as had a bad DTD experience in there last wed night on legs of lamb with the warty cs woman). I was all excited yabbering "I've just met hampydoodums" & expecting him to immediately understand what i was on about!

Here's a whole thread about them! Basically they seem to be insulated Roman blinds -- at least, that is what I am going to make. I had a lot of work done on the house, err, over a year ago now (!) and there are several windows without blinds and some curtains which need re-making. It can get more sophisticate than that, if you read the thread, but I was just going to line the blinds/curtains with an old mattress protector and an old-fashioned quilted bedspread thing which I got from a charity shop. If this sleeping bag is not too fat, it might be better. I gather you've got to check that the filling doesn't clump with the effect of gravity.

OMG they are !!!!!!!g amazing! Thank you so much for sharing that. :A

I like the idea of using the aluminium thin insultation you can get and then putting it inbetween the fabric so its not seen?

I'm desperate to get the house warmer, our house gets cold as soon as the heating turns off , I've got max insultation and cavity wall but it leaks out of the house. I spend £140 a month and really can't spend anymore.

Thank you so much :j
