  • Eee exciting Flower - congrats! Also happy anniversary to Birdie - it's all go!

Argh Wendz, bad timing on the move but I guess at least you'll be in and settled and won't have to think about coming home from honeymoon to the stress? Look forward to seeing your invites :)

I've done not much over the weekend, Sunday was a massive hungover fog and Saturday I was running about doing the usual Saturday things - seeing granny and so on. I'll be needing to keep my fingers busy this week though to stop me from eating so will pick up my knitting haha :D

Oh wow Flower congratulations!!! But you can't just pop in and tease us like that... Details, as Birdie said. :D Looking forward to more Dress of the Days.

I went out on Saturday to a really cool gallery show, so that was great. Then yesterday was a day of massive cleaning. We started from the top of the house at 11am and finished at the bottom at 8pm. (With a little Harry Potter shaped break in the middle). I had really neglected the cleaning, so it feels good to be back on top of it all again. Plus I did loads of outstanding jobs like banking cheques and applying for a passport.

Now just got to do some work - boo hoo!

Can't wait to see the crafty bits people have been working on :)

Haha sorry, didnt mean to tease. We were out for the day just going for a family walk when he popped the question :) and of course I cried (even though I have had a feeling for the last couple of weeks that he was going to do it).
He didnt have a ring with him because he hadnt been confident on his choice, bless him. So he took me to the shop where he had put some money down and showed me the 3 that he had picked out, and I decided on his second choice.
I am on cloud nine :D the ring is lovely and simple. He said he wanted to wait and save up more for it so he could get in his words 'a better one' but I dont care I love it and I couldnt care less how much was spent on it!

Its been wedding talk non stop in our house since. We have both agreed we want something informal and low key, it will be very DIY I think, and we're thinking next year. Oh and of course Noah will be pageboy :D

Aaaaaah massive congrats Flower! Lovely story :) And happy secret anniversary Birdie! Exciting times all round! Ring and cake pics...?

I am totally pooped from a weekend in London, saw lots of sights on Sat, went out for a few drinks in the evening and then were in the Take Me Out: The Gossip audience on Sun - we were off camera for most of it but managed to get behind Mark Wright for one of the interviews. Getting dolled up at 12pm on a Sunday felt very wrong though!
