I'm going to try to make a few of the things on my dayzero list, two birds with one stone, I do love efficiency.

Tax return is submitted and apparently I'm due £509 back in overpaid tax. Woohoo!!!

I was sure I'd found more than that to claim back? Never mind, its a nice little windfall.

Tete gutted to hear about the course, but as you say you are a right Resilient Rita.

Anyone else at risk of their building being blown away along with everyone inside of it or is the wind just bad up here?

    Lovely little bonus Dinah! :T

Poddle, how can you be critical of your wedding pictures? They're amazing, I wish I could've crashed it! You should keep one of the hessian runners and cut it down to fit in a frame as a mount for a wedding photo to give it a little extra 'something'. :)

I loved the NYC blog posts too (read them on my tablet though so didn't comment then forgot to do it on the laptop!). Totally jealous and the food photos made me so hungry! :)

NIM, it's super windy here too. The market has even been abandoned. :)

Very windy down South today too and my boss insists on sitting with the window open!

    Lovely tax bonus Dinah :)

Tete and Birdie - I felt like that before doing my first craft fair, in fact I almost pulled out :o In a lot of ways it was a better way to start than Etsy though, it was nice to get feedback and find out how people felt about pricing etc

Thats a bit scary Birdie, were getting a LOT of "Make my fence safe/put my fence back up" calls at the moment. Do these people not get that in hurricane type winds playing with large light rigid sheets is a good way to get someone killed.

Been looking at martins missold packaged bank accounts thing and I reckon I could be due a few quid back so that'd be nice. I was told that the normal thing to do in the UK was pay for a bank account when I signed up.

I remember you coming back when you opened it and being told it was the only way you'd be okay-d for a UK account.

That's a nice idea, thanks Birdie! I am quite a few oddly-shaped offcuts on the basis they'll come in useful :o I'm a BAD declutterer!

It's quite windy here too, but not raining or freezing cold for the first time in, what feels like, months!

You say that BUT I was so cross the other day as a result of my decluttering! :o I had the top halves of some t-shirts left over from the scarves I'd made for Christmas presents and I decided I was being silly by holding onto them so chucked them in the bin. A few days ago I came across a Pin for a different type of no-sew scarf that these scrappy t-shirts would've been ideal for and I don't have them any more! Now I have to find yet another t-shirt to cut up! :p

  • Fab bonus Dinah and yikes Poddle! But my limited knowledge of anything like that suggests his business must be doing OK to owe that much?! Like you say though, fingers crossed he's taken it into account and put it aside!

Fab idea about the hessian Birdie :) I know what you mean about the annoying decluttering - I had half a metre of 1" wadding floating about for months and I eventually binned it (thanks to the Jan challenge!) - have thought of at least 5 uses for it since! Ah well.

Yep, very windy here, couldn't get out of the car this morning, my door kept closing on me!

But on the plus side the extra t-shirt will be something you weren't too keen on and could also have decluttered, now you'll like it more after it's make over :D
