Hi guys, thanks for all the good vibes! Parts went well and parts could have been better... But there were 200 applications, 150 interviewed and only 33 places ... So we'll see. Everyone else (5 people) had way more school exp than me but I didn't think they were as personable *ahem* and I was the only one who's passed the skills tests yet. Four weeks to wait. Kitty if you're lurking I'll send you an email later, don't want to post too many details on a public forum
Nice to see you Zig! Can't believe you're coming home already!
Am only on my phone but can't wait to click some of the crafty links when I'm back at work tomorrow *ahem*Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Fingers crossed Tete.
Last day of de-junk January, anyone else in a sudden rush for the finish line? I have a box of NIMs CDs to re-music magpie (phone app kept crashing at the address stage so need to do it online), a couple of drawers I could still tidy, a tax return to get in (only waiting to input P60 info but my blasted work didn't send me it this year!), finish sorting the email account, I *might* even get the final downstairs room sorted.... the conservatory... although that might be a battle too far! Been considering just pulling down the conservatory and using the slab as a patio, it leaks when it rains and the wood work is mouldy.... but the back door isn't very warm so if we took it down we'd loose that buffer so I guess it's staying.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Thanks for the tip about the tokens Beccie, good idea!
I wish I could go home now and crack on with de-junking in an attempt to reach the target but sadly I can't, stupid work getting in the way.Going to give it a last shot tonight so at least my craft stash is all sorted and good to go for Fab Feb.
I'm not feeling too much pressure to de-junk everything *right now* as I'm carrying on throughout the year so if I miss a few days I can catch up later, as long as I clear 168 things a month I'm on track and I've smashed that with loads more to work on in the coming months so hitting the target won't be that difficult I hope.
Really hope you get accepted Tete, sounds like it went well so will be keeping everything crossed. Hope the wait isn't too arduous!
ETA: Crossed posts! Sorry TeteThat sucks so much, can't believe it!

No just the application site thingy has been updated. I can ask for feedback and I will, I reckon it'll be lack of experience though, which is a shame as I do think I'll make a better teacher than a lot of people who've spent years in schools. They said they'd consider all applications before making any decisions and I know they still have interviews to do so it's a bit strange that they were so quick, must have been really bad?
Ugh and Colleague and Boss won't shut up talking - I just want to sit quietly! Might go for a mooch at the creative posts...Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
