That's really fantastic news about Grace, Dinah. It sounds like a very positive appointment. I am so pleased for you all!

Sometimes it's very stressful getting good news, because all the fears that have been brewing up get released all at once! You guys have been through a hell of a lot this past year, so don't feel bad about needing extra support. Having a new baby is a stressful experience even without her being poorly and having a diagnosis hanging over you. I hope that you will get very good treatment that suits you from the GP.

    EXTREME ((((HUGS))))!!!

Pretty godsmacked at the totals! How does that even! Totally doing this with our "untouchable" savings. Might be a struggle once we get past week 40 but that's forever away.

Meant to say earlier, hope everything goes well with the doctors for the anxiety and possible depression. I suffer from both so know how hard it is, and how difficult it is to really get your feelings and problems across. You know where to find me if you want a talk :)

Bless him! He'll be getting into all sorts of trouble now. Can't believe he's walking, doesn't feel like two seconds since you had him.

Thought I'd quickly update with my things for today:
    1. Cleared out and tidied up the linen drawer - bagged up some fitted sheets for my Parents as they were for our old bed that they have now.
    2. Sorted a bin bag of rubbish from our bedroom - bedside tables and wardrobe are now in order!
    3. Moved clutter from the bathroom into hat boxes in the bedroom.
    4. Got a bag of books together for the charity shop.
    5. Started a list of things on WeBuyBooks - anyone used these before?!
    6. Cleared rubbish cupboard in Kitchen.
    7. Gave DVD to my Nan.
    8. Collected change from around the house for our new change jar.

Hmmm...moved clutter from one place to another? That sounds like cheating :D

Nope not used that site, just tried tapping in a few of the books I have beside me and they won't take any of them, have you found some they will?

    Hi everyone! I've been decluttering a little bit;

    1. Cleared out email inbox 1
    2. Cleared out email inbox 2
    3. Emptied drawers in desk at work of rubbish
    4. Sorted a bag of clothes for donation
    5. Shredded all unnecessary bank statements
    6. Shredded all unnecessary receipts
    7. Recycled a load of magazines

Think that's pretty much all I can do in the flat here, need to see what I can get through when I go back to my parents next weekend.

Love the idea of the 52 week money challenge, definitely going to be trying that, in fact put my £1 in today.

Grace looks so cute with her j2o, but I would be careful as they have LOTS of sugar in them. Good news about her scan and that you'll be getting the help you need soon.

Hope you're dad is getting on ok Tete.

Not stopping long, work has been a nightmare this week and it's really taken it out of me. Hope you all have a good weekend!

Shhh ;) I cleared a carrier bag of empties/half used things out along the way I swear! Only full new items made it to the hat box. We bought lots of surplus toiletries in our Christmas shop when we had lots of vouchers :)

A couple odd ones; a cake decorating book, odd novel. You need 15 for an order though which is annoying when they say "ohhhnoo one simply can't buy any old filth!" to 99.999% of the books.

Great going, Ruby! Hope you get chance to relax this weekend.

Glad you got some good news about Grace. Hope the doctors can help with your anxiety etc. Is totally understandable given what you have been through with Grace.

That pic is so cute, she is adorable :). We have given Poppy water since 4 months and she has had tastes of lots of drinks. We try not to give her juice very often as she is so good at drinking water.

Flower - i'm the opposite, don't think i could be a sahm. Is funny as i always thought i would but i actually enjoy going to work :o.

Well done on all the clearing. I have been useless.

Afternoon everyone, just catching up with posts.....and piccies of Grace (who is very cute, by the way :happyhear).
Not a positive post for me as I am going to fail the de-junk challenge straight away. This time last year my dad was seriously ill with lung cancer and died on March 10th. Yesterday we found out that my father in law has cancer in his pancreas and liver and it can't be treated so we're all reeling from the shock. Obviously the priority has to be looking after him and my step mother in law and supporting my husband rather than trying to achieve challenges. I am going to try and work and not give up completely, though.

On top of that the tax man is saying I owe them £1130 despite the fact I am PAYE and I questionned my tax code last year saying it wasn't right and they told me it was. When I pointed this out to them they have no record of the phone call and say they need more proof!! I don't know about anyone on here but I'd quite like their job - !!!! up but then blame someone else when you don't do your job properly!!

Sorry for moaning, but hope everyone is having a productive January.....and I hope you start to feel better soon Dinah. You have been through so much in the last year so be proud of what you have achieved so far :T
Let's start again (really need a kick up the bum now) :wall:
