I just made a list of the things I realistically think I could do this month, and there are 37 of them without any real push. Given there aren't even that many days in the month and I'm going away for 5 days I think I'm going to try to aim to get 10 things done, but any more than that is a bonus I can feel chuffed about.

Are we able to count 'achievements' even if they're not on a list somewhere? I'm on the verge of finishing two scarves that have been on the go since last Easter and would love to count them even though I don't have them listed anywhere...

Looking again, I'd like to get up to halfway on my Day Zero list - which would mean 22 things!

I can declare my MM total as £1,151.99 :D Nowhere near the £3,000 mark, however I am very pleased with that.

I'm also happy that it kicked me into the eBay groove with another 30 odd listings done over the weekend.

I won't be joining in the April challenge but will be cheering on everyone who is. I have a Day Zero list although it needs drastically altering and with a fairly terrible weekend filled with unexpected family problems I don't really have the time or the inclination :o

I will be on a massive push with to-do lists though. I still need to get a lot organised for going to Africa on the 30th, the never-ending listing of everything I own, plus plenty of things to resolve from this weekend :(

At the rate I've been [strike] not [/strike]doing things recently I'll be happy with 5 things crossed off my list this month! :o

I was quite pleased when I updated my list last week I found that I had unknowingly completed another 4 things though! :T Still a loooooong way to go! :o

Hope everything's OK Beccie? Nothing too serious I hope.
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Cinny - your OH has never had lasagne? it's a staple here especially since DH learnt how to make pasta!!

By being WEIRD. He "doesn't like tomatoes" but yano, likes salsa, pizza.. He's had a bit of some when we've been out (it's the main reason I always have lasagne when we go out!) but never had it properly. Pressure's on to do a great job, I want it to be a staple in our house too :o If all fails I'm going to have a steak pie on standby :p

Yep, count your scarves, if you feel like you've achieved something count it, end of the day all these challenges are for fun really.

Won't go on too much so as not to bring down the thread but basically it turns out my Dad has been having an affair for the past 18 months, my Mum is in bits and there's a right money-mess emerging from the whole thing :(

Oh no Beccie, i am so sorry to hear that :( Big hugs!

On the AA front, I'd like to get the closet all done by the end of this week, and then sort out my quilt. I've only got to the square cutting stage, and I'd love to have the top completed and basted ready for hand quilting in front of the telly.

There might be a bit more kitchen DIY on the cards too with the new worktops arriving on the weekend (if the couriers will ever get back to me!). We were thinking of changing the tiles too, which I would love, but it involves loads of unknowns. But exciting too :j

"The AA front" :rotfl: :rotfl: ahem sorry. It was the thought of us all sat round in a room taking turns " hi I'm Starnac and I achieved 2 things in the whole of April"

Tete I was planning on making a list of everything I would like to do/finish and then see how many I could get done by the end of the month. Basically I am looking at this challenge as a way to get things ticked of my never ending to-do list. So yeah def count your scarves.

Oh beccie, I'm sorry to hear about your family problems. Hope your mum (and you) are okay ((((((hugs))))))
