Birdie that looks awesome! How exciting! Just what you need to look forward to on a day like today! I stayed at my friends on Friday and had to drive home in the snow on Sat morning, which made me very scared! Its not even that bad here to be honest. How is it further north?

It's not too bad where I am (although it's just started snowing again!) but in our friends' town, 12 miles away, it was much worse and there were 3-4ft drifts on the sides of the road. Nothing like Cumbria where they were 20ft mind! Fed up of the snow now. Big time! We were only planning on looking at holiday options yesterday and pricing it up but we got so fed up of being cold we just booked it! :)

Sorry to hear about the job NIM but echo what everyone else has said, it sounds like a push into a career that you'll be great at :)

Hope this isn't inappropriate now :o But I'm bouncing off the walls - a letter plopped onto the mat on Saturday morning letting me know that the redundancy I applied for 18 months ago has finally been accepted! OH and I leave in Jan 14 for a years travelling round the world! :j:j:j

Holiday looks lovely Birdie, how exciting :)

Exciting with all the birthdays too! :D

NIM, that's such a tough break - really sorry to hear about your job, but I'm sure that you'll be able to turn it into something positive in the long run. Fingers crossed for the care job - sounds like you'd be perfect for it.

Nice work, Birdie! I reckon planning a holiday when it's so ridiculously cold here is the way to get through. Lucky OH!

And Beccie... wow! That's pretty fantastic news - what an amazing opportunity :D
