Having spent the morning cleaning the conservatory I've come to the opinion it needs tearing down. Immanently. The place is just full of mold, and that's the last thing a baby with crappy lungs needs inches from where she plays. All the furniture, the windows, even the stone tiles in there are covered in various colors of mold. Several panes of glass/joints where glass meets wood are also leaking meaning there are puddles in there too. So despite my concerns over the security of the sliding door at the back I'm going to try to get NIM and my dad to demolish it in the next couple of weeks - will certainly give me more incentive to save for the extension!
